Love this location! Thank you for adding it. Been here several times since opening. Most recent visit was on 12/7, had several drinks, and the Roast Beef and the Jumbo Baloney sandwiches. Great place. Brianna was a great server. We wil lbe back.

Eat. Drink. Be Happy. What does it take to be a regular at Bar Louie West Homestead? An enjoyment of the craft and the desire to experience something out of the ordinary. From our Chicago roots, we've always known that having a comfortable place to hang o
My family stopped for lunch at Bar Louie; it was our first time eating there. The wait time was a little longer than usual, although the place did not seem packed. The water I ordered must have been straight from the faucet, terrible taste. None of us (four) enjoyed our meals. The pasta was so spicy that I personally could not eat it and passed it to my husband. I suppose it was the "house made spicy voodoo sauce". The order of flat bread had yet another sauce made in the house that was tasting and looking like chocolate. Not everybody eats chicken with chocolate!!! We were too embarrassed to ask for all the food to be replaced, but I noticed a party close to us requested new food. The waitress never asked how was the food, she just checked once to ask if we wanted anything else. No, thank you!For the money we paid, we could have eaten something delicious anywhere else. Not going back.Sandy, I apologize for this experience at our Waterfront location. My name is Chad Zappia, and I am the director of operations at Bar Louie. The flatbread you are speaking of is the Thai Chicken Flatbread, and that sauce is Hoison sauce, the sweet like taste that might have thrown you is the Thai Peanut Sauce its dressed with as well. Chocolate chicken doesn't sound too good to me either! As far as someone not asking how the food was or talking to your table, that is unacceptable and I will be following up with our staff and management team. If you could, email me at [email protected], so that I can follow up personally and find a way to turn this experience around for you!

What a find! A bit off the beaten path, but worth every extra mile. My husband is Slavic, so were excited to find a place that served authentic cabbage rolls. Crissy, the young lady who runs Emil's, is a delight. Very friendly....came over to our table to just talk, so she and my husband got into a real neat conversation about "the old country." His cabbage rolls were excellent, and my rueben sandwich was definitely the best I have ever eaten - loads of corned beef, nice and lean; tasty grilled bread...just amazing! Wish we lived closed so we could return. Very reasonably priced.

Stopped here with my husband after a visit to the art museum (it's diagonally across the street)I had the California salad. My husband had the onion soup burger (yes, there is such a thing). Both meals were outstanding.Noise level is manageable, good mix of young and old...couples and families. Extensive menu that ranges from veggie stuff to meat and potatoes.

After a long day of renovations and skipping lunch, we were hungry. This was our first visit to Dukes and based on other reviews and the fact that it always seems busy, we hoped to get a good meal. We were disappointed.First let me say that the decor is really nice and they have lots of beer on tap. The menu was promising. We ordered a blackened prime rib sandwich with fries and a shaved prime rib wrap with coleslaw. The fries were good and the coleslaw was excellent. The wrap was okay but bland. The prime rib sandwich wasn't blackened and it was mostly gristle and fat. They took that sandwich off our tab as it went unfinished.Service was slow and my knife was dirty.I highly recommend the coleslaw.

Had dinner at the Blue Dust tonight. We had heard they had good food and we werenât disappointed! I had the brontosaurus short rib, my husband had the brisket tacoâs and my son the cheesesteak! All were amazing! Not much talking during dinner, didnât even pick up our phones! Too busy chowing down! It is somewhat of a hidden gem right before the railroad track but really worth the find. Excellent service was icing on the cake! Highly recommend!

A friend took us here recently on our way to Pittsburgh. It is an easy off/on from the parkway. Nothing fancy but great service and good casual food. We sampled some of their dogs, wings and pizza. Plus some tasty bloody mary's. Everyone liked what they had, Definite spot to keep in mind if you have time before/after a game. Also ... make sure to check out the beer cave.

Last Friday evening my wife and I, along with another couple, returned to Dorothy 6 Blast Furnace Café for a second time. The restaurant's space is inviting. There is a large, nicely appointed bar and several tables. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. But it took a long to get a server to take our drink orders and longer still to get them. We all ordered draft beer so there was no reason for it to take so long. We ordered a few apps to share. They are supposed to be known for their Dorothy's pierogies. The app has 3 pierogies for $6. As there were four of us, I asked if we could get 4 pierogies for $8. We were told by our server they didn't do that, instead of saying, I will check with the owner (who was on sight that evening). Frankly, our server was very poor. She couldn't answer questions about the beers on tap and made no effort to assist us in ordering. The food was passable at best. The pierogies were under seasoned and therefor bland and my Caesar salad was disappointing. At this point I am not sure there will be a third visit.

We went with another couple for a night out. We had a very good time and the food was great. We got pizza and it was really good. A lot of spicy meals if thatâs your thing. Staff was friendly and food came hot and fast. Nice place inside and restrooms were clean. Good beer selection but only their own, no outside options. I would have liked a booth but not too fussy about a table, other than they are really close to each other. Definitely going back.

Lots of burger choices and if you can't find one that suits you, they have a "customize" option. Great idea. Good cookie & ice cream dessert.
