Are here while on a business trip with coworkers. Overall the restaurant is your typical sports bar and restaurant, it was hard to hear and have a conversation over the multiple TVs playing multiple NBA and baseball games- I would definitely recommend stopping here to watch games... to have a conversation with people, not so much! The food was typical of bar food, with the addition of a couple steak options. This restaurant has a pretty solid craft beer line up if you are interested in the Chicago craft beer scene. The only downside to this restaurant was the service- our waitress was slow to take our orders and we had to flag her down to get a refill- this in spite of the area we were sitting in being slow that evening. All in all- this was an ok experience that would have been better suited for catching a game with a small group of people, rather than a larger group, but the service definitely needs to improve.

Inspired by Chicagoâs first airport, Ashburn Flying Field, The Ashburn is an innovative restaurant that celebrates the heritage and tradition of aviation. The Ashburnâs offerings include unique twists and modern interpretations of classic American cuisine
Great lunches, dinners, and cocktails during my recent business stay. The food & drink selection in Ashburn is expansive. I particularly like the salads, but every time I order them someone else in my party orders a burger with the amazing fries. I then always say âwish I got that tooâ. The staff serving everyone from Bar to Dining room are all excellent. Angelina, Zarqa, and Rujiin all made such an impression during our several meals in Ashburn. All so very helpful and friendly.

Bub City is Rosemont's destination for barbecue, whiskey and live country music and is open for lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and late night dining. The Southern spot offers more than 125 different whiskeys from well-known and independent distilleries thr
I am sure the business model here is liquor sales over food sales with a great selection of beers, whiskeys etc. and a full, flashy wall of attractive libations. The food side of the menu is pretty standard barbecue fare. I was attracted to the smoked wings but alas they had been 86-d. Boo. I settled for my old standby - pulled pork. My food was delivered surprisingly fast. A small (4-5 oz?) portion of mushy, warm, already sauced protein with adequate smoky undertones. A shot-glass-sized ramekin of coleslaw, 4 sweet & sour pickle slices and a triangle of thick sandwich bread. All completely adequate but definitely not worth 15 bucks. The generous portion of tots were ala carte, but hot, crispy and worth six dollars as a stand-alone. I would rather have seen them as an included side though. There was live band karaoke which was pretty cool and fun entertainment while I ate. As a sidebar, Iâm not sure this comment goes here, but the parking at this âentertainment destinationâ is a disaster and the architect who designed it should be embarrassed.Overall Iâm not mad that I went, but donât need to go again.Dave, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. You have a lot of good points and I really appreciate the feedback. I am sorry for running out of the smoked wings. My name is Clay and I am one of the managers here. I would like to follow up with you on you feedback, and more importantly, I would like to make things right with you. Can you either shoot me an email at [email protected] or give me a call at 312-927-8411 when you have a chance. Thank you, Clay Tormey

Below average food. Limited menu. Service was excellent or terrible. Depending on day and server. I was here 6 days. Crowd was loud and noisy as you would expect from a convention type hotel. We are sorry to hear about the service inconsistencies and your subpar impression of the food. We will let the management know that there is more work to bring our offerings up to the standard, and that the servers need some more direct guidance. We appreciate you letting us know how your experience with us has been, the feedback will turn into positive change! -PB

After waiting 19 minutes and flagging down 3 people...finally the 4th stopped and saved us from leaving and never coming back. Geo wasn't supposed to be our waiter but took our drink order and our food order when we told him we were sitting there for 19 minutes. Rebbecca also stopped by and made sure we had our drinks asap and our food order was out fast. I gave Kings an average (instead of a poor) because we really did enjoy the burgers. I am still really disappointed on the lack of the first 3 people caring that NO ONE was taking care of us. It was not packed, a little busy, yes, but there was still open tables. Hi Beth,Thank you for joining us weekend. I'm very sorry you didn't experience the level of service we expect. Please reach out to me directly so I can get some more information to use for training. I would like to prevent this type of experience for happening in the future.Thank you,Christina Suntrup

I know the hotel dining experience has been elevated. They used to be a necessary evil and only because it is easier then going out. Not anymore. And Chicago Fire Pizza is a case in point. Service from start to finish was excellent. The food was delicious. The drinks on the mark. I started with the Woodford Manhattan. Well prepared by the bar. I then had their house white with the risotto bites. Hardly bites. Three good size risotto balls with a flavorful marinara sauce. I had one. Wanted to save room for pizza and salad. I moved to the house red for my spinach salad and 8-inch Mediterranean pizza. I had leftovers for each. The spinach salad was flavorful, well-balanced and dressed. The pizza had a perfect char, nice crust and tasty toppings. The only slight negative is the lighting. What is up with the darker âambiance?â I passed on dessert.I will return and sample more options. I encourage you to do so.

I visited the restaurant during a business trip during the recent polar vortex. Temperatures were below zero but the Great Escape was warming and welcoming. The food selection was varied and tasty and the service prompt. My business colleague and I were quickly seated. Portion size and price were good. A gem of a local restaurant worth trying.

Walking into Gale Street Inn is rather like stepping back into the past. It's been a neighborhood favorite in Jefferson Park for generations. Dark wood, atmospheric lighting, lots of regular customers, and selections that aren't jazzed up with sriracha sauce or lemon grass - just traditional, delicious food that's well prepared and served with considerate attention - no silly gimmicks, just attentive, helpful service. What a pleasure! The crab cakes were excellent (and as an appetizer 1/2 price before 6:00 pm). The ribs here are famous and the barbecue sauce is raved about. It's a neighborhood that's northwest but still in the city. It might not be on your regular route, but it's worth going out of your way to eat here.

What a great place to enjoy after a day at the convention center directly across the street and beside several hotels. The staff is well trained for this white linen establishment. They have a bar room with tables able to handle singles / couples. Ample seating options and party spots available, would recommend reservations as it does get busy. They seem to deal well with the deluge of orders and service does not suffer. This place exceeded my expectations and will return again and highly recommend.
