When traveling we try to visit local restaurants vs. chains. This was right up our alley. Kind of a hole in the wall place, however we enjoyed it. Drinks were great, and food delicious. Service good.

Had an excellent meal at the Union Station. I ordered Ribeye with butter on it, was delectable and absolutely tender. Also had with it Asparagus and a baked loaded Potato. Bothe were also excellent. However everything was too much food. I tried heating it up in the microwave, next day in hotel... Was not nearly as good.

This is my second time here. The first was during a conference and the top floor was rented out. This go around was with family. There were about 100 beers on tap at the bar wall! They have a separate menu just for drinks! I recommend the turkey, brie and bacon flatbread. We also had the pretzel and pierogies! I will definitely be back when I visit the area again.Thank you Jennifer for your review! I must agree the turkey, bacon and brie is one of my favorites too! Also yes we do have 100 beers on tap! Perfect selection for everyone! Please do stop by on your next visit!Cheers!Samantha BridgewaterAssociate Manager and Beer Buyer

This was the most delectable meal I have eaten in recent memory. The beef short ribs were succulent and the best prepared and most top shelf quality I have eaten anywhere. I have paid double the price this establishment charges at some esteemed fine dining restaurants for the same dish and all of these pale in comparison. Food.Bar.Food has excellent food, solid service and both are offered at a more than fair price.

The shack that started it all. Serving our signature burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, a raw oyster bar, and of course bacon, bacon, bacon. Stop by to catcha game, enjoy a cocktail or a craft beer.
We read about this place and wanted to give it a try. We were not let down. The place is definitely a noisy shack but don't judge it by the way it appears. The beer was cold and refreshing. My friend said the hamburger was outstanding and one of the best she has eaten. I ate the Chicken Sammy (fried) and it was "devine". We were very satisfied with our meal and the service.

Cocktail was good as was the service from our waiter Kyle. However, $31 ribeye steak special was overpriced over cooked and undersized. Asked for medium rare and got well done, meal was an embarrassment. Management should be ashamed, steak was gray and less than 1/2 inch thick. Was not even worth eating.Hello,I am sad to hear about your unhappy experience at RK. We wish, we were given the opportunity to make your experience better. My email is [email protected] if you would like to talk in details. Best,RK Staff

Jimmy Madisonâs near JMU is a clean, basic pub in a nice college town. The menu is a little fancier than your basic pub food. Several of their dishes revolve around smoker meats such as brisket and pulled pork. Tasty. Unfortunately the pretty shrimp and grits dish was so spicy that it was difficult to eat.

Located in the culinary district of downtown Harrisonburg, VA in the building which formerly housed the Strand Theater. We are proud to be independently and locally owned. Clementine serves weekday lunch, weekend brunch and dinner every night on our main
We ate here based on a recommendation from one of the hosts at our bed and breakfast. We were quite pleased. The restaurant is right in downtown Harrisonburg and parking can be a bit tricky. However we found a fairly close spot right on one of the nearby side streets. We were there on a Summer Thursday night and the place was not very busy--but we could see that it might be packed (and noisy) on a weekend when the University is in session. The service was excellent. The food was very good (I had their Bistro steak and my wife had their grilled salmon). I should comment on their drink menu. Not seen very often in the US, their menu included Caipirinhas, a delicious Brazilian drink which we had first encountered in Costa Rica. Clementine's Caipirinhas were delicious--prepared exactly as were the one's we first had several years ago. We very much enjoyed our drinks and dinner. The only negative for us was being seated at a high top table. They had other open tables and I should have asked for one of those. I will next time because we find all high top tables, including those at Clementines to be somewhat uncomfortable. Nonetheless, we can recommend Clementine's heartily.

Nice one of a kind burger establishment. Chose it based off Yelp ratings...I would say they are about accurate. The place is small. very limited seating inside with maybe two tables. The bar is first come first served...there is seating outside...for that you have to check in with the host. I choose the Special of the day - Mac/Cheese burger (supposedly) what they are know for, wife had the Elvis Burger (topped with peanut butter), and Kid had Rickety Cricket. All were good with a homemade smell and taste. The Mac/Cheese burger was not at the top of the list. However, my son went the next day and did order the Mac/Cheese burger and said it was better that day the the day before. The other two were awesome. The Elvis burger was layered perfectly and with the Rickety Cricket, the grilled onions basted in tabasco sauce was a great refreshing mixture. This place is definitely worth the try...When back in town, I will be stopping by again.

This is in a somewhat uninspiring strip mall underneath an apartment building. Not much to the location. Interior is dark Irish pub but is small, cramped and a bit dated.Food was just average. Fries were apparently of the frozen and not fresh cut variety, various salads were not bad but not great and the cabbage in my corned beef and cabbage was crunchy and undercooked and the broth was more of a salty syrup.Donât see the fuss at all about this place, even for Harrisonburg.
