Enjoy savory dockside dishes with your family and new-found friends. The Boathouse Restaurant serves classic Bahamian dishes with a gourmet flair. You'll feel like you're dining right on the water. And for temperate evenings enjoy dining in air-conditione
We stay at Valentine's and always have one meal there as a break from the more expensive fine dining spots. I usually have the burger but the chicken is ok. Don't try anything too creative. The service can be spotty as there are big distances for wait staff to travel to the bar and outdoor seating from the inside dining. The indoor restaurant is more upscale than the outdoor which is next to the bar. The bar is noisy and a sports bar atmosphere. We appreciate your visiting Valentines, and dining at The Boathouse. Your feedback is very useful as we highly value the opinions provided by our guests and continuously strive to provide an exceptional dining experience. We hope to welcome back very soon.

Enjoy our full menu, light fare and delicious cocktails at the waterfront Rooster Tail Bar & Grill located at Valentines Resort & Marina on Harbour Island. We are open all day and serve lunch and dinner; breakfast is served from December 15 through August
We hosted a Wedding Weekend Welcome Party on the deck of Valentine's Rooster Tail Bar, and the entire event exceeded our expectations. The site needs no decoration as the location speaks for itself, but the staff tastefully added decorations to the space giving it a very personal and wedding feel. The team working the party were friendly and accommodated any request. Our guests raved about the food and drinks - overall just a wonderful time made possible by an excellent staff.
this place didnt look like much from the outside but was very nice inside. the food was good and the jimmy buffett cheeseburger was very good as was the calapyso soup. conch fritter were good too.

We went during happy hour. The drinks took very long and the food took longer. The service here is similar to the service at just about every restaurant on Harbor Island. They take your order, what your ordered takes forever to come out and they donât come back to your table until itâs time to pay and then, the check takes 30 minutes to get to you and another 30 minutes to be collected from your table. Drinks are never refilled and/or youâre not checked up on to see if you want a refill. So the whole meal youâre rationing your beverage so you donât drink all of it before your food gets there. The rum cake was really a banana muffin and cost $10!! Finally, we asked for some water because we learned mixed drinks take so long and we were dying of thirst at that point. Waiter comes out with a pitcher of water which was strange because all the other tables had bottled water. The only two Bahamians in there got tap water. We thought it tasted funny but surely the white tourists brought their bottled water and they wouldnât serve us tap water which all the locals told us not to drink...A few hours later we knew it wasnât filtered and was indeed tap water.

We tried Harry O's on our second night on Harbour Island and we're very impressed! We're not really into spending a huge amount at fancy restaurants and this place was perfect for that. The service was excellent, the girl telling us that it was their first day having taken over and they did an exceptional job. We also knew we were on to a good thing as there were a number of locals lined up waiting for their take out. You either have the option for takeout or you can sit on the back deck, which is shared with a bar. We ate in and ordered beers from the bar whilst waiting for our food, the bar offered 2 Sands beers for $5, perfect! The food was excellent and came out quickly by island standards. I had a delicious grilled chicken sandwich (great to find something not fried!!) which had a huge piece of chicken and a good amount of salad within the sandwich. Hubby had the chicken fingers with fries, they were done exceptionally well, fried but not greasy, with a great seasoned coating. Our two meals and two beers came to $25 before tip, which is excellent value based on the quality of the meal and expensive prices elsewhere on the island! We enjoyed this place so much we will be going back! Would recommend this to anyone visiting the island, even the day trippers looking for a good lunch with water views.

AWESOME place to sit and people watch and enjoy outdoor fun. We just went for drinks and were told only when we were settling our bill that they also offered food! Had drinks and were charged one price, then we went back on our way back to the ferry and were told we were undercharged. Notwithstanding that error on her part...the place is cute and fun and a good place for a cold beverage.

Great views, but restaurant was empty except for three tables. Charred Octopus was burnt and chewy, Grouper was unfrozen, and Lamb shack had a bad smell. Sorry for the table personnel, but the chef was absent, clearly. Not our best experience in Harbour Island, and pretty pricey too.

Sunsets with a rum drink or a short walk to the beach for sunrise. The place is beautiful, the staff super friendly and the atmosphere laid back. Caught the band the Brilanders (?) on Sunday night and they couldn't have been more fun. Plenty of fun places to explore nearby in the way of bars and restaurants but also nice to kick back at the marina bar and kick back. You'll never know who you may pull up a stool next to you and order the conch fritters!
