A completely renovated event space and restaurant, right on Pontoosuc Lake with views of Mt. Greylock! Serving Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch.
A group of colleagues from work decided to meet at the Proprietorâs Lodge for a couple of drink and dinner. We were a large group of 9 and were seated promptly. Our drink orders were taken and before I knew it, I was sipping on a pretty decent pomegranate margarita. I subbed out the house tequila and had them make it with silver patron since Iâm a bit of a tequila snob. I enjoyed two of these cocktails while I was there. We started with some wings and nachos for the table. Buffalo wings were good, but the garlic parm wings werenât my favorite. Just a bit on the soggy instead of crispy side and the seasoning wasnât the greatest. Loved the loaded nachos. We placed two orders and everything disappeared from those plates. I had the frutti di mare with fra diavolo sauce. I thought it was tasty. Large portion, I had to take the rest home with me so I could squeeze in dessert. So if you order the mud pie dessert, be forewarned that this is huge. We ended up passing it around the table so others could help polish off the plate. Real whipped cream was delicious and the mocha ice cream was outstanding. After dinner we heading out to the deck as the sun was just beginning to make itâs way down the sky. Itâs a lovely setting outside, but what a bummer that alcohol cannot be served there. I had visited this restaurant a few months ago and was definitely not impressed. I think they are working out the kinks and this visit showed a lot of improvement. The noise level is still up there, so this is definitely not a quiet spot to enjoy a relaxing dinner. The food improved since the last time I was here, but the presentation of the food still needs a bit of work. The prices are up there. You can really put a dent in your wallet eating here.

It does not matter what you order here it is always good. Pizza, hamburgers, salads, appetizers, main entre, it's all good. My wife had a really terrific seared scallop special. I had my go to favorite when I'm feeling meaty, the Baseball Sirloin. It is a no fat cut of meat cooked perfectly with a salad, fresh seasonal veggie and chef's potato whim for $23. Smothered in caramelized onions, gogonzola sauce and bacon it is outstanding.

Can never go wrong with a Guinness and fish & chips. Thanks for the review Ken, happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us!

Three of us were headed to The Barrington Stage Company for a musical and allowed extra time for dinner nearby. Mission Bar & Tapas was the perfect place to go! We had made a reservation and our table was ready. The menu was excellent and we had a hard time not asking for one of everything! We chose to share several items: the Strawberry Salad, some Calamari, the Patatas Bravas and the Braised Meatballs. Each was very good and the portion size was just right! Our server, Sara, was friendly, helpful and attentive. We did not need to allow extra time because our food came very quickly and we had plenty of time to eat. I would definitely visit Mission again when we are in Pittsfield and recommend it to others in the meantime!

Eat on North is a casual restaurant that is seasonally inspired and locally sourced. Our dining menus of flavorful American cuisine are available for lunch and dinner. We feature an Oyster Bar serving delicious shellfish and oysters, and an amazing select
We got off to a great start, walking into a very attractive restaurant with lots of brick and beautiful wood to be greeted by a charming and engaging hostess. It was all too rapidly downhill from there. The menu is a bit limited and certainly not imaginative, unless meatloaf qualifies. The waitress was either totally untrained, completely unaware of normal helpfulness, or on drugs. We've certainly had the occasional brusque, abrupt waitperson, but she was neither. She just wasn't communicative initially about simple things like bringing bread and then took a very extended break from our table, necessitating flagging down other helpers.Besides a very good bread, the food itself was ordinary without much flavor. There was at least an ample quantity to fill our stomachs. The best part of the dining experience was a very fine duo who started playing music at 8. It was at least small redemption.Dear portlandorer, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, we encourage any and all feedback that will help service our guests better and create a positive dining experience. I would like to apologize that your experience with us on this evening fell short of that level of service we so diligently try to strive for. In reading these reviews we always want to continue to train and move forward if the guest experience is not as it should be. Having said that, I will certainly pass along these concerns to our kitchen and serving staff so that we may rectify any further shortcomings. I personally would like to extend my direct phone line if you would like to discuss the matter further. We hope that you'll come in again so that we can make things right for you on your next visit. You'll be happy to know our new Fall menu will be launched by then and perhaps you'll take a look and be more pleased with our selections. I agree with you wholeheartedly that the our bread is delicious! Hope to hear from you. Deanna L. EspositoRestaurant Operations ManagerEat On North413-553-4210

District Kitchen & Bar, nestled amidst the bucolic Berkshire HIlls, serves contemporary American cuisine with gastropub influences. The surrounding region boasts a rich food and agricultural culture of which the restaurant takes full advantage by offering
We had just taken in the First Fridayâs Artwalk in Pittsfield, during which we were fed various appetizers and wines. Also, we had already picked up dessert for later in the evening, so all we needed was a small/middle meal. This place fit the bill. We were seated within a few minutes of entering the restaurant, a bit close to the door, which concerned us because the day had turned cool. But the staff was very conscientious in making sure that the door was closed promptly behind every party which entered or departed. We were comfortable. Our server greeted us immediately. We ordered hot teas, the Public Salad and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich which was served with either fries or salad greens, we chose the salad greens. Our tea came quickly, we were provided a large variety of teas to choose from. Our meals were not far behind. The salads were extremely fresh greens, great ingredients and a tasty dressing. The chicken sandwich was moist and flavorful on a tasty ciabatta bread. The dressing on the sandwich was an eggplant and and red pepper spread which was very flavorful. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

I've been here several times. The ambiance is lovely. I've had great service, I've had average service. The drinks are good, they have a great beer selections. The marinated steak is great, but some of the other entrees I've had were not good at all. I wouldn't recommend the Neptune Bowl or the Bruschetta chicken.

Dinners and drinks were delicious. We were tired from our 6 hour drive to begin our anniversary trip. This was closest restaurant to our resort and was a great pick. Service was wonderful and although this is also a bar, it was quiet and relaxing.

Your dining choices are limited in this area. Sat outside and could see people doing Jiminy Peak activities. Staff was very friendly. We ordered the quesadilla from the appetizer menu and a Taco Salad. Portions were large. My husband and I split these items for dinner and still had leftovers.
