Very casual dining but food is very good, well prepared and presented well. Specials served every night with some good deals. Drinks often half priced. Wait staff has been very good most times. One clunker who seems to have left employment at his place. Accommodates large groups with little problem.

Watch carefully as you drive through Hampton Bars to see Gator's door. It would be easy to miss among the string of doors along Montauk Hwy. in Hampton Bays. The Gator on their door will help. I have been eating here for more than 20 years. It would not be summer without at least one trip or more to Gator's. It's a small restaurant but rarely a wait and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. We love to get the ribs and corn fritters for appetizers. I have had so many good dishes I hardly know what to recommend. Salads, Soups, Burgers, French Dip, Steak, Tacos, Ribs, Pasta and more It's a varied menu and I never been disappointed.

On July 4, 2017, our family visited Meschutt Beach Hut and ordered $150.00 worth of Food & Beverages. 1 - Lobster Roll was prepared incorrectly. When asked to fix it, the wife of the manager stated to us, "I know your kind"! "You people eat the lobster off the roll, then come back to us, asking us to fix it"! Totally not true! Both wife and manager, called us bad names, cursing at us for being black people. We were insulted, classified as low life people, and discriminated against (Racism). Meschutt Beach Hut refused to solve this problem, and in addition to making terrible insults to our family, we were treated like dirt by the wife and manager of Meschutt Beach Hut!

78 Foster Restaurant & Bar is now open in Hampton Bays, NY. Join us for lunch specials, dinner, happy hour, live music and more!
We have been there twice. It's a restaurant with a large crowded bar. The food service is rushed. The servers are indifferent. The food is mediocre and only a step above diner quality. I had a Tuna Tartare appetizer that tasted old, oversalty and topped with stale avocado spread. The Gumbo is decent. My wife had stuffed flounder that she said was overcooked and dry. When asking if the fish was local the response was "sort of."Last time we had burgers...greasy burgers. When live bands play inside it's too loud to allow for conversation. Same thing with Karaoke. We said we weren't going back after the first time. Gave it another chance. Now not ever going back again.Sorry to see your review Alan. We hope that you will change your mind and give us a chance to change your opinion of our food soon.Sincerely,The Team at 78 Foster

Family style, low key atmosphere where families can sit in the bi- level back of the restaurant which offers hardy American favorites. Service is efficient and itâs a popular waterhole as well. When you first enter, you are greeted with a lively bar, flat screen tvâs all around, games. Highstanding tables before a long and often crowded bar. Service is excellent and fast. Lots of parking outside. Itâs not fancy, but the food is surprisingly good.

For all my friends who believe that the only good lobster roll is an authentic New England lobster roll, guess what?No one loves a great lobster roll more than I do. This one is slightly nontraditional in that there is a garnish that includes tomatoes on top of the roll. Donât be put off, do not judge before tasting this marvelous. This is absolutely the best non-traditional lobster roll that I have eaten. The balance of the menu is also very good but not world class. Basic seafood fair in abundance served with a smile. Well worth the trip. Thanks for your great review Paul! Happy to hear that you enjoyed our Lobster Roll and we hope to see you again soon!Sincerely,The Team at Sundays on the Bay

We were stopping by the Shinnecock Canal area in Eastern Long Island and topped by this place which was located in a marina on the west side of the canal, not far from the old OBI East/Canoe Place Inn. We came at 11:50, before it opened for lunch and a crowd developed. We were seated on the deck at noontime and I had the shrimp hero and my friend had a burger. Both were very good and there was still a line waiting to get in. This is a very nice place.

Whether you are chasing the summer sun or wishing for a warm winter meal, Cowfish is here for you every season. This stylish spot with rustic furnishings pairs steaks, seafood, and sushi with canal views from patio tables. Plenty of boat docking, with cat
This beautiful restaurant is situated by the water with some fantastic views of the boats and water. We came to this place for late lunch or early dinner. They donât take a reservation for two but they said they have a table at the time we called them. We got there and found a valet parking, quite a big parking space here. Then we followed the path walk to the restaurant. Along the way thereâs a nice garden all around. Beautiful decorations inside and outside the restaurant. We had a table right away, by a glass window. We had Brussels sprouts for appetizer. This one was quite salty. I didnât care much for this. Then my entree was the swordfish that was served with corn and couscous. This one is highly recommended! The fish was fresh and the taste was excellent! Hubby had the Cowfish burger. I tried a piece. The fries was good, not greasy, and the burger was pretty good. We adored the ambience. The service was excellent. We had Allegra serving us. She handled the table really well. After the meal we took a walk outside to take some fresh air before going to the valet. We had a nice experience and hope you will too. Cheers!
