Our server, Kelli, couldn't have been more pleasant, smiling, efficient with her table service. The restaurant was fairly crowded on a Saturday evening. Our four orders were varied and all delicious. My Baked Half Chicken with Orzo really hit the spot. This was our first visit, so we will look forward to a return venture. There was a full barservice, plenty of wait staff, enough parking. Ot was a bit loud in the dining room/bar room, but then again it was St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Bennieâs has a pub menu. I particularly like the Waldorf salad with roasted cashews as well as the fish sandwich without the bacon. The coconut shrimp (appetizer) is also good. I have been to the fish fry on Fridayâs is good as well, The list of craft beers appeals to various tastes. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable.

Traveling through and decided to try P & P for the first time. Love the atmosphere and aesthetic! Customer Service on point and food was delicious! I came with a group of 15 and with no reservations, we were seated almost immediately. We arrived between 3-4 pm. This is a family friendly restaurant. We enjoyed our visit and plan to be back. Unfortunately I could not give it 5 stars due to cleanliness. Perhaps we walked in after lunch rush or not enough staff that day but in this instance I couldnât give the 5 stars. Our thanks to the staff for their care & attentive nature and even some jovial moments that we as a family will remember. We will be back! Thanks for the kind words Charity. You did catch us right after our lunch rush, we always pride ourselves on our cleanliness! We are so happy you and your family had a great time and canât wait to see you in the future and earn that last star!

Still one of my favorite restaurants in the Hagerstown area. They didn't disappoint on this list either. Lovely setting, clean, wait staff pleasant, service excellent. What more can I say? Oh! Food exceptional. Next time I am up from Florida, I will visit again. Public garage parking is convenient at a reasonable price. Food prices are average for a good restaurant..

Our waiter could not have been nicer! The brunch menu looked good on paper, but when the food came, the âhome friesâ were actually deep fried potatoes, basically French fries cut into squares! The spinach and cheese in my omelette was sparse. The mimosa was orange juice with splash of champagne, it should be the other way around! The lettuce in my salad seemed wilted, how do you mess up a salad? Love their atmosphere, but wonât be back for breakfast! Maybe, maybe try lunch, or dinner. Maybe not!

For a small city, Hagerstown can boast of many excellent eating places. Recently tried Hempen Hill. Service was fine, if a bit eccentric. The fare was excellent. Would have to comment on the first-class quality of the meat used in our entrees- very impressive.. Would have to add that all the clientele seemed very happy to be here-a great atmosphere.

Our family of eight stopped here for dinner on our way through town. Selected Rikâs due to the great TripAdvisor reviews and a previous excellent stop numerous years ago. Unfortunately, we were generally disappointed this time.Staff was very nice and accommodating, and we were promptly seated and ongoing service was very good. However, the food was hit-and-miss. The Southwest Reuben was very good, the sweet potato fries were excellent, but the beet/pear salad was very disappointing. The waiter did replace it with a Cobb salad, which is actually much closer to a wedge salad. Pasta dish was very lack-luster, but several other dinner choices were good. All in all, our expectations were much greater than was delivered on this occasion.
