This has always been our local stop after traveling or out hiking or day trip. Sit and watch the locals and tourists and enjoy a drink and local tapas or raciones. Or you can have a meal. They now have an excellent tapa menu 2-3.20â¬. This trip as the hotel did not serve breakfast we also went every morning for Spanish Breakfast. Fast, efficient, good service and good price. As I said our favorite place to relax after a busy morning or afternoon.

We ate here a few times both for a full meals and for tapas en route elsewhere.Located in a small square with a couple of other bars and eateries, you sit outside enjoying people watching with a chilled wine or beer. Inside is just as good if you want to mix it with the locals and try out your Spanish.Food is just normal typical Spanish cuisine from tapas to full plates. If you were in the UK, you would call this a traditional pub-grub type of place that the locals go to as much as the tourist. You wonât get fancy presentation or mystical swirls of mystery foams or sauces, but you will get good friendly service, sound traditional food and a pleasant agreeable ambiance.Go here.... you will be supporting a local bar that will appreciate you coming.

Classic hilltop town main plaza restaurant. Typical traditional very good lunch menu. Perfect hour and a half including stroll up and down the ancient streets. Moorish origins everywhere.
