This full-service, East-Coast style deli opened in 2007. The Mermaid Deli offers a full lunch and dinner menu, as well as catering.
We were headed through Westport and needed to eat before continuing on our coastal road trip, so we stopped in here for some sandwiches. We had to order at the bar and then ate back near the front door/windows at the little tables there. The bartender made our sandwiches and then disappeared back to attend the bar. We ate and left without seeing anyone again. The sandwiches were basic fare, but decent.

Good beer, great service, good bar food, scuffle board, ping-poing table, small dance floor. Where the locals hang.

North Cove Bar & Grill - serving Steaks, Seafood and an American Fare Tavern Inspired Menu. Situated on the Coast of Washington we have amazing views, water and sunsets! Also serving Craft Beers and Cocktails in a cozy little setting by the sea.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal here. The service was excellent. The menu had something to appeal to everyone in our group. Burgers, flatbreads, salads, salmon and steak were all good. I had the fried oyster dinner which was very tasty. The oysters were plump and juicy, not greasy at all. They also have a full bar with lots of local craft beers. This restaurant has outdoor seating with an ocean view. North Cove must be part of the Shoalwater Nation's casino across the road because there was no sales tax on our meals. Nice bonus.

This was my first experience with discrimination in my 62 years...we were visiting Westport for charter fishing and went there for dinner..it was tarnished by an incident in the mens bathroom on their "chalkboard"... will never...ever...go back there & if I had the owner's email address I would send this on...this reflects on the whole business community of Westport & hopefully not anywhere else in the town...

Cannot say anything nice about the ambiance since they were doing drywall work during lunch. Not sure why they would do this during a prime meal hour, but, it was sure annoying, We tried some sandwiches and they were only average. The pizzawich came cold on a decent bun, but, why would you serve a cold sandwich named after a pizza? The Buffalo chicken sandwich was good. The fries were served with an interesting sweet mustard / mayo mixture. The pizzas looked good and they appear to be into local beers so that would be the recommendation here! Service was just OK.

We travel to the Westport area every year and every year we love the Local Bar. We love taverns and this one is frozen in time...pool tables, locals, no yuppies and really good bar food.Today, we shared incredible steam clams and fried oysters. Heaven.Thereâs lot of other choices, too.
