Visited late Friday evening, Hardly Any lager on Tap, ended up asking What they did have instead of what we wanted, the staff were Miserable, the toilets were dirty. The only good thing was the Live Singer but unfortunately he wasn't good enough to make us stay any longer than we needed too, one drink was more than enough in this establishment..Shame as the Pub would have a lot going for it in the right hands..

Terrible service... Forgot our drinks til reminded, carvery looked old and left out. The man serving the carvery Jordan told my partner after he waited 10 mins he would be 5 mins to serve him then went out for a cigarette for ages. There were other people in the kitchen but nobody came out. My sons order was wrong, so I sent it back and it never returned. Nobody had a clue what was going on. Walked out without payingHi Jordan M, we can assure you that we do not find this type of behavior acceptable, and we would like to address the situation you have described.

The quality of the food a lot to be desired there was no attention to detail and either from the staff or what was in front of youThe consensus of the whole party was that they would not come back to this establishment is that felt are far better eating restaurants in the areaI would forgive this one it was left to me

Dave and family took over the pub August 2013 and have since undertaken an overhaul bringing the business back to life with new decor and furnishings. The extensive refurbishment also saw the kitchen replaced and the garden bought back to life. We have tr
I don't usually write bad reviews but i will in this case.My husband went into the pub during England vs Croatia match and he was physically push out by the manager/owner telling him to "GET OUT OF HERE".I guess maybe they're not used to black people around. I don't mean to get racial but this is how I feel as he was the only black person there at the time.HelloIâm Dave from the Railway Inn Sole St cobham regarding your visit for the England v Croatia game can I clarify that your comments are about this Pub as I am not aware of this and think as there are other Railway pubs in the close vicinity you may have the wrong Pub !I would like to clear up the issue !ThanksDave

Always rate the breakfast here, normally good but visited here Friday morning and was disappointed...food was cold, hardly any beans on my breakfast.my boyfriend had his sausages missing from his vegan breakfast, had to find someone to to get them..The best bit was the nice young lady think her name was Billie who delivered our breakfast with a smile, and made sure we had everything we needed. She is a very appreciated member of our team and I'll be sure to pass it along :)I am however very sorry your breakfasts were not up to standard on this occasion. TJ's is a traditional public house located in Gravesend with a lovely garden and catered function room - offering a wide selection of drinks and food, whilst also regularly hosting events and providing catering for our customers.
This pub bucks the trend of 'yob' hostelries in Gravesend. The manager puts up with no nonsense and runs a very clean, respectable and friendly establishment. The smoking room outside is great and well-furnished. The really is nothing negative to say about this excellent venue.

The best Indian Resturant in Gravesend. Run by Indian family. Visit with 10 family members. Manager welcomed whole heartily. Offer us the seat. Took drink order himself. The food order came in good time. The mixed kebab grills served with masala chips. Very tasty. Chaats and mixed pakora were also good. The main dishes were freshly prepared. Butter chicken. Lamb chops makhni dal biryanis. The mixed nana. Garlic, butter and plain naans were good and fresh. The Chef came to ask for any more suggestions for good. The sweet and ice cream were good. The last thing paying the bill. It was less than our expected figure. Everyone enjoyed the food. Will recommend to anyone.

We popped into the pub for lunch after doing one of the many escape rooms in Gravesend. It is a classic English pub - lots of little rooms but with a nice balcony and outdoor seating by the river. The choice of beers was good - lots of local options. The food was decent. I had a ploughmanâs and cannot complain. The portion was huge! My family had club sandwiches and scampi and were happy. Next to the pub is the Light Vessel 17 which was open to the public. Itâs opening hours are subject to the tide. It was incredibly interesting. So go and do an escape room in the morning, have lunch and a beer at The Three Daws and visit LV17 if itâs open. Sorted.
