Large Bar for the restaurant size.
First our server Hannah was attentive and really nice. Love the outdoor seating, so did our pup. Burger is straight forward basic but DELICIOUS. Love the Almond, Cranberry salad and the flat bread with pesto, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes was also amazing.

It was regular Applebee's food, but the service was good, and friendly. There is something that everyone can order here. There was parking close by, which is good.

We visited for the first time last night. We sat at a sidewalk table, there's two. We ordered the Tuesday evening deal, Pad Thai with chicken of three veg for 5.99 and added chicken for an additional 2.50. We also ordered the shrimp sorung roll. For a restaurant that doesn't specialize in Thai these dishes was surprisingly good. Service was sloooow but our server Kendra was sweet, did apologize and made it right with a complimentary beverage. Customer's were friendly, we had a lot of fun chatting with some folks at the table next to ours. I really enjoyed the Moscow mule also.

My wife and I decided to make a last minute excursion to the Alton area to do some eagle watching. We knew we would have to find something for lunch but also knew many places on Sunday would be closed. So with a lap thru town this place was opened and looked promising. Plus Iâm always up for trying a new microbrewery. The building is cool how they took an old bakery and converted it. Was surprised at the âseat yourselfâ sign. It took a minute as several of the small tables were dirty but we found one. The service was not terrible but could have been better. The beers we tried were excellent. Their wheat beer and dark beer with Kaldiâs coffee were both excellent!!! The food was very good with an upscale bar food feel. Although my orders the BLT only to find not a single tomato slice on it. She chose not to send it back as she can be slightly allergic to tomatoes anyway. The bacon on both sandwiches was delicious. We were a little disappointed that the chips they serve are not made on site but prepackaged. The chili was very good. It did take awhile for the waitress to inquire about a second round, which we wanted. We also had to ask for the bill. However, we would go back as the beer was excellent and overall the food delicious.

Great place, cheap and quality food and great entertainment. Super find, my wife grew up in the area and wanted me to visit this place. Super friendly staff, and neat indoor/outdoor seating. Odd food system where you order your food at the kitchen, then wait and pick it up. However, it has character. We will return.
2 friends & went to dinner last Saturday to Sportsman Club. It was my first visit. We were attending the Alton Symphonic orchestra performance afterwards. We were seated quickly & received our drinks promptly. The Sportsman club used to be a members only club but is now open to the public also. Note ..there are 2 different prices for each entree but non member prices are only about $2.00 more. I ordered the chopped steak with mashed potatoes & gravy, & green beans. I thought it was all very good. There was a salad bar but I didn't get that. I had a taste of my friend's chicken livers & was really good also. It did take a little while to get our food but was worth the wait. I want to return & try something else. The bar was separate from the dining area. They begin serving dinner @ 5pm & it wasn't that busy but when we left about 90 minutes later they were . There was a wedding reception going on in another room but was separate from dining area. I was glad we checked out the Sportsman Club.

Bluff City Grill is located in Downtown Alton, IL on the heart of Broadway just minutes from the Clark Bridge and Alton Amphitheatre. We offer a diverse menu, a relaxing lounge & sports bar featuring 14 TV's to watch all your favorite sporting events, and
Wide range of options here so there's something for everyone. The chicken breast with angel hair pasta and "sherry cream sauce" and mushrooms was a delightfully good surprise. The "three little pigs" sandwich was excellent (bacon, ham, pulled pork). Several other options on the menu that looked very appealing; sorry we didn't have time to come back again this trip. Will definitely be back. The bar is a full bar, with a variety of interesting looking drinks. Very disappointed in the Cadillac margarita -- came in a large 16 oz glass with plenty of ice -- but had orange juice and Sierra Mist soda in it. Tasted more like a kiddie cocktail punch. Had a decent wine list and will select off of it next time.Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. There's both a bar area with tables, as well as a dining room area on the other side of the wall. Nice decor; nice bathrooms. Will definitely be back.

Think of Morrison's as your Ireland away from Ireland. From the moment Lisa, Mary, and Katey arrived in Ireland, they knew what they were experiencing in the small towns and pubs was too wonderful not to share. Morrison's Irish Pub is a family-run labor o
A group of girlfriends got together for an early dinner at Morrison's. The beer was cold and the food was warm. It was a perfectly friendly atmosphere. Our server was helpful with suggestions, the food arrived quickly and was delicious. The prices are reasonable. This is a cozy atmosphere and we will be back.

We were taken here by friends who are regulars. The interior's nothing fancy but pleasant. There's a vast menu of sandwiches, burgers, salads, pasta, etc. etc, etc. Portions are very large. I had soup and salad bar. The salad bar was, again, classic midwestern - only iceberg lettuce, bacon, salami, and ham among the offerings, a bit skimpy on actual vegetables. Tomatoes and cucumbers but no radishes, celery, carrots, peas, artichoke hearts, broccoli, mushrooms, or peppers. No fresh fruit. The soup was just OK - worse than Campbell's. Others had chili - excellent, a taco salad - huge and very good, and french fries -excellent.. Prices are moderate. My friends love it. I thought it was pretty good.

Saw my Sister in Laws review and gave this place a try. It was a bit chilly when we were in for dinner but having said that, I really like this place. The food is so well prepared, from plating to taste, a delight. This is a step up from your casual dining experience. For in culinary talent, these folks excel. No dress code and not super fancy, but you can really tell from the fine work of the chefs you have had a worthwhile experience. A fine job behind the bar as well. And don't miss the deserts. This place is new and so very clean. The menu is set to impress by not being too big. Key to being able to do it right. I gotta try the Sunday brunch here.
