We are located right in the heart of Georgetown. An old goldsmith turned Cafe/Restaurant/Bar serving a variety of signature dishes which will impress your tastebuds. Our breads, cakes and pastries are freshly bake in our house bakery every morning . Good
We always visit Kim Haus for dinner when we visit Georgetown, probably at least six times in the last 4 years & found good food at a good price with efficient service. This time however it was so different. The staff were very offhand & slow to take the order, they basically ignored a man who wanted to order a coffee as they were so busy chatting & they did a lot of chatting amongst themselves. At one stage, a staff member went behind the counter holding a lit cigarette! This was after smoking in restaurants has been banned! Our food finally came out, the beef burger was overcooked & very small & the veggie one was tiny. The charcoal bun had changed to a regular McD's type - full of air. Altogether, very disappointing, we'll have to find a different regular place to eat at for our future visits.

Breakfast Deli and Restaurant by day, and ROCK&ROLL Bar by night, many of our customers very quickly become repeat customers and friends... While the steaks and carbonara are very yummy, the local foods are just as popular. With complete meals from as low
Lots of activity around Love Lane and Chulia Street in Georgetown, I have been trying out each of the bars as they have music (they seem to alternate). Last night I went to D'Loovi's and really had a great time. A guitarist named Raggy played, essentially non-stop from 9:00 pm till after 1:00. Great music, lots of people up and down the street, and a pretty good crowd here too. Very enjoyable evening.

Was walking around town and saw this new restaurant. Came in for a meal and the dishes surprised us. The mixed seafood paella is a must try, reasonably priced yet flavourful. The Spanish bacon is succulent and itâs paired with lychee salsa. The dish surprises your palate!I ended my lunch with their Yuzu mascarpone dessert. Refreshing. And now I have a happy tummy!

Your visit to Penang will not be complete if you have not sampled world-famous Peranakan Cuisine, which is uniquely Penang. What better way to have it than from the best Penang buffet dinner of specially selected authentic dishes prepared by true nyonya c
We celebrated at the the sky bar for 4 nights in a row and were not disappointed. The bar man remember our drinks and how we like them, the waiter was very prompt and as soon as our drinks were getting low he was on top of it with the next glass.Live music each night and it was fantastic The views from the roof top where beautiful each night even with the sea mist coming in.We choose to eat from the light section in the menu and only displeased by one dish and that was the fried chicken wing as we felt they were under cooked however, everything else was very taste best wedges I had in a while.

Newly opened on the sunny island of Penang, Olive Kitchen + Bar is the latest gastro bar to open in the ever popular Penang Island. Music, Drinks, Food, what better way to experience Penang's entertainment and night life?
We enjoyed a few visits here whilst staying at the E&O, which is around the corner. The Indian meals were lovely, as was the ice cold Tiger. Excellent value and good service. Good sports coverage on the large tv's too.

Came here tonight and has great burgers and fries. I can definitely recommend the chicken blood sauce burger (sounds worse than it is as it's very delicious and great sauce). The catch burger is also really tasty ( ask waiter if fish was fresh in first). We tried the mojito and passionfruit mojito and I can recommend but the passionfruit mojito I thought was amazing. Wonderful service by staff as well. Decor is very hippy and 70s I felt. Definitely recommend. Tip: they take only cash payment

Holy Guacamole. In the happening and trending Love Lane, Penang. Fiesta everyday with tacos, burritos, fajitas y mas! Accompanied with Latin and Spanish hits from live bands.
We ate at this restaurant last week. We have known about it for awhile and were anxious to try it, but what a disappointment.Although the menu does have typical Mexican items, that was about all that was typically Mexican. First we ordered chips and salsa. The chips were actually pretty good, but the salsa had a strange tasteâlike there was some kind of Indian or Middle East spice in it. I ordered a beef taco. It arrived on a crisp, flat tortillaâthis was a tostada, not a taco. A taco is folded in half and the contents placed inside. But I would have been okay with that except that the beef was cooked and/or marinated again in Indian or Middle East spices. These kind of spices NEVER belong in Mexican food. Having come from an area where Mexican food is very abundant, I have never in my life tasted Mexican food that tasted like that beef did. There was also some cheese on the taco/tostada; I donât remember if there was lettuce and tomatoâif there was, it was a small amount.I realize this is Penang and not Arizona or New Mexico, but with regard to the reviewers indicating that this place served decent Mexican food, apparently they have not eatten truly good Mexican food. At least use Mexican spices and not Indian or Middle Eastern spices in the preparation of the food! We thought the prices were quite high given the size and quality of the food portion. So bewareâdo not go here expecting traditional Mexican foodâexpect food with an Indian or Middle Eastern flavor. We will not be back.
