Delicious food, reasonable prices. First time I visited this restaurant I had the special of the day which was shrimp and scallops, was on Saturday. The next time I came back I had broiled salmon, it was the perfect portion. Kim was very friendly. Highly recommended for a local restaurant.

We have dined at Lion & Bull several times over the past year. I like the fact that this restaurant/bar supports our neighborhood activities. All of our past visits have been in the lunch hour or 7:00pm time period. Our recent visit was on a Thursday night. We arrived about 8:15pm and sat in the restaurant section. We noticed a large crowd of 20 somethings arriving around 8:30pm and a bouncer suddenly appeared. By 9:00pm, hard rock karoke was underway and the music was blaring. Conversation was impossible and we left as soon as we could. I gave this review four stars for the food and service. I would give the atmosphere a one. Suggestion for all...if loud rock music is not to your liking...go earlier in the evening.

We are die-hard Buffalo wings fans....from Buffalo. We try wings in every restaurant we can find, searching for the closest to the "real" Buffalo wings and it gets frustrating when they come out soggy. Since we are from the Northwest and about as far from Buffalo as we can get, we naturally went to Buffalo Wings. I finally found a way to get close at our local BW. Yesterday, craving wings, we went to the BW in Gainesville. Ordered extra extra crispy wings with light Buffalo sauce (it works at home) what came was a heavy dry rub wing. I rubbed the rub off with my napkin and asked for a side of Buffalo sauce. The server was very friendly and personable and I think she was new. If you are going to be called Buffalo Wings, please learn how to fix them like they do in Buffalo. Ask the one in Vancouver WA....they have it right now :-)

My husband and I visited Rockwood on Friday June 7, 2019 for Happy Hour. We sat at the outdoor bar area. The bartender was phenomenal. She tended a double-sided bar (inside and outside) and kept up with all the drink and appetizer orders, plus maintained the stock of the bar's paper goods, glasses, etc. in between customers. She was friendly and obviously enjoyed her job. We left her a nice tip. We had the House Nachos, which was enough for 2-3 people. Fresh, made to order, very good. This is our 3rd time to Rockwood and we have enjoyed each visit. We will definitely be back soon.

The strawberry lemonade sangria was worth 3 stars on itâs own. Itâs not a place to go if your looking for a lot of noise and people, itâs cute, spacious and nice for drinks and a light meal. All in all, Iâd go backWe're glad to hear that the sangria comes so highly recommended! We hope that another drink or menu item earns another star in the future. Either way, we'd love to see you again! -PB

We've been faithful dinners at BJs since they opened, but seems that over the years balance of price to experience has shifted negatively. Last night our family of four spent $88, before tip, for two sandwiches, one soup/salad, and one entree and two non-water beverages (Pepsi and creme soda). That is at least $20 more than the comparable of years past. We may need to find another dining favorite.
