i've eaten a fair amount of burgers. what maybe 100,000. some of them got mushrooms, some got that funny cheese, some got grilled onions, they even sometimes put bbq sauce on them. they make a darn good burger here: one o fate better burgers you'll find. they'll decorate it any ole way you want. with all of that stuff or none at all. i like my burger with mustard, never any mayo, onions, lettuce and pickles. i can take or leave tomatoes depending upon what time of year it is, but this is my regular go to burger order. in my home town if you order a burger "all the way" is comes with slaw like they are doing you a favor. they don't announce it. it's just part of the deal. slaw means mayonaise where i come from and if you if want to ruin my day put mayo all over my burger. mrs bbq likes slaw, mayo and ordering her burgers all teh way. i gave up a long time ago doing anything about that. i still cringe, but i've accepted it. i don't gag near as much as i once did when she'll bite into a burger and a slug of mayo will roll off the burger and descend into a splatter of white decrepit waste on the plate. now a splatter is all together different. i cannot abide a mayonaise spaltter. they make a great burger here, will dress is any way you'd like em too and dog gone all but give em away on tuesdays. service is top notch and the place is clean if dated, as the bar scene across the way from teh restaurant has worn hard on the building.

Stopped by for a light snack. I ordered shrimp bits and my girlfriend ordered the chilie cheese fries. Both were excellent. The fries would serve several folks. Eat here often and have never had a bad meal. Service is prompt and friendly. Try Gainesville's own Left Nut Brew.

Stopped in for dinner tonight on their opening weekend. Hostesses were super friendly, waitress was amazing and the food was great. We had a party of 5 and each of us ordered something different. From the mahi to the burgers to the tacos to the chicken , the food was delicious. We had a couple cocktails and those were great too. Great atmosphere and super friendly people. Canât wait to go back! Highly recommended!

Local Dive Bar and Restaurant with Pool Tables, TV's, live music, Karaoke, Trivia and Poker. All of the food is high quality and from scratch with the best ingredients!
Although Mule Camp is a tavern, the food they serve would make any chef from a top scale, 5 star establishment, proud! The food is fresh, the menu creative, and the presentation is exceptional! Mule Camp is unique, unexpected, and a wonderful surprise! (Something you hope to experience from an American tavern, but rarely find). The food isn't the only impressive element that separates Mule Camp from other bars/taverns; I found it to be clean, excellent service (friendly and eager to accommodate you), and they provide top local bands for concerts and shows on the weekend.

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.
In fairness it was a great big ole thing. All I asked is that the egg be omitted Mrs bbq asked to leave off the avocado. I was happy to pay for them. I just did not want them damaging the other parts of my meal by touching the good ingredients. We had our drinks. We had bread which was quite good but which we were trying to avoid by eating salad. And we proceeded to wait. And wait. By the time my $22.00 salad arrived it had been sitting out so long the crispness if the lettuce was gone. And there sat the biggest pile of chopped up boiled egg I have ever seen. I was about to send it back when much to my amusement there on Mrs bbqâs plate sat them entire Central American avocado crop sliced up cantaloupe as the feature attraction of her $12.00 salad. Sometimes you just have to grin n bare it. It will be awhile before we return.

This facility was close to our vacation accommodations. We called ahead and they were expecting our group of 12. We ordered and were getting tired of waiting for our food when the mgr stopped by to see how it was going. We are starving where is our food. He assured us it was being plated and we had been told this already by our server. Food finally began arriving and several of the meals were cold and had to be returned. One meal wasn't even provided. Our server did his best to reassure us that food would be corrected. The server had the mgr come and he personally worked to resolve the issues and helped with serving our meals. The mgr also gave us a discount on all our meals. Not sure where the issue is with this location but they dont seem to be able to handle larger groups. They were not over busy and it was after the supper rush. Maybe some retraining in the kitchen would help. I do admire the server and his mgr for stepping up and doing their best to accommodate the customer. This facility is well located and very clean. I would return, if in the area in the future.

We were doing spring time yard work, and we decided to take a break. We had never been to the Recess Gastro Pub, so decided to give it a try.The rare London Broil roast beef sandwich was most excellent, and I had a porter that they have on tap. Great food and brew.Jennifer Woodcock and Allanah Smith were our bartenders, and the service was excellent. A great place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon.

Fun and funky environment, fast and friendly service. A casual dining experience. Patio open and breezy. Gluten Free and vegan options available.Catering upon request. Event space available for rent.
I love the crust. Itâs not thick and itâs not thin. Itâs just right to pick up and eat. They know their way around a pizza here. Toppings are generously applied and they use primo ingredients like thick bacon. Salads are well crafted as well. Service is unpredictable but usually agreeable. They lucked up securing the property. Itâs an old home on historic Green st downtown Thank you so much for this great review. We really do take pride in the crafting of our pies and using the best ingredients. We appreciate you!Stay Mellow;)
