Great food with even better service makes for happy patrons. Our waiter was a Big man, but he did his job with an artful skill. It got busy, then busier, yet my beverage never ran dry. My bet is he will be a success at whatever he chooses to do!

One of my criteria for a pleasant place to eat, is environment. This restaurant has indoor, bar and outdoor seating. Indoor seating is very noisy and outdoor seating isn't always available outdoors due to weather. If I want to sit in relatively silently thru my meal, this is perfect. It is not a place (indoors) to have a group conversation. There are always specials, which are worth trying. I haven't had a bad meal here. The beers are fun and varied. The salads come in funky metal bowls. Most of the sandwiches require multiple napkins. Juicy and fresh.

This place is really great! Itâs right in the middle of an outdoor mall. When we were there tonight on a Thursday, we could even hear live music down the street sitting outside. The food was really good, the drinks were really cold, but what really stood out was our service! Our waitress was absolutely amazing! She took care of us and made recommendations and was always there when we needed something, but never bugged us. I would recommend this place and will definitely be back next time Iâm in Madera!

Everything is okay, and the food decent. But the kitchen was very slow, 45 minutes to get our hot food. And two of the orders came to the table wrong! Pizza was flat, and should have been deep dish. Salad with ahi was ordered without won ton chips, and it arrived covered. After sending it back, it added another 15 minutes to the order. With two diabetics in the group, this was not satisfactory.

About the Duck We are a family of seven friends who wanted to build a restaurant that values integrity over profits, quality over laziness, and our guests above all. When we first got the idea for the Duck we wanted to do it right, we wanted to do it simp
The servers and atmosphere create a neighborhood bar and grill feel. The menu offers variety so everyone at your meal can find something they like. If you are craving "bar food" the fried pickles and seasoned fries are favorites. For a meal, try the AHI tacos or any of their sandwiches. The Steak Bites is a favorite Appetizer. This is a favorite local spot for us!

Imagine visiting your favorite San Francisco-style steakhouse. Place it in the heart of California and invite all your friends to meet you there, and you'll experience The Elbow Room. From the day the doors first opened in 1955, The Elbow Room has been se
LOVE this place. Wait staff is super friendly and the food is always interesting and delicious. Favorites: sourdough garlic round to start - a must-have! Evening special that night was halibut with lobster and succotash mixed with more lobster, and a creamy sauce of some kind. Also love their dinner salads - especially the salmon salad. If it's not too hot, try for patio seating. It can be noisy but it's also a really nice place to sit and chill with friends.

Love the location in the SLO area so I was pumped to know there was another location in Clovis. Can't get enough of the potatoes & chipotle dipping sauce, not to mention the great burger options, especially the blue burger. Just wish the chili didn't have beans - they don't belong in chili, but maybe that's the TX girl in me speaking

Everything about our experience at Pismo's was top notch. Our server was excellent and friendly from beginning to end.I ordered the crab cakes, caesar salad, and au gratin potatoes, all of which were delicious. My partner ordered an eclectic special of the day: pumpkin crusted halibut with sweet potato hash, broccolini, and acorn squash, and he said that it was first rate.Note to would-be visitors: This place is BUSY even on a weeknight, and reservations would be STRONGLY recommended. Otherwise, wait times, particularly on a weekend, could get really long.

The meat on the tri-tip sandwich was generous, and the bread was very good, also. Sometimes the bread is an after-thought, but the quality added to the enjoyment of the sandwich. Atmosphere is noisy sports bar.
