The great thing about having absolutely no expectations for having a fine dining experience in this dying burg is: I am never disappointed and only rarely (very rarely) impressed. This place recently started serving food. The food has promise, but barely. The best thing the owners of this place could do would be to shut down immediately and spend a week (or two) and train the employees on how to run a restaurant. We were promptly seated at a table that required a contortionist to access. There were two water goblets and a set of salt and pepper shakers on the table. No silverware, no napkins, no tablecloth. After several requests, silverware and napkins were delivered.About 10 minutes after we were seated a bubbly young woman came by. She was very friendly and completely clueless regarding the menu or the daily offerings. When asked about various menu items, she remarked: "I've heard that's good." Hello, restaurant owner, train your servers. Make sure they have at least tasted your food.I ordered onion soup and bourbon glazed chicken. My friend ordered a salad and the bourbon chicken as well. The onion soup was absolutely meh. We never saw the salad. The main course came out within moments of my soup. Hello, restaurant owner, invest in some soup spoons as well as some training for your servers. The most promising thing about our dinner was the chicken. It had the most potential. The taste was good. If the chicken were warmer than room temperature, it would have been better. The green beans were very good. Fresh, well cooked, well seasoned. The baked potato was fine, once we acquired some butter and sour cream, which, for some unexplained reason, did not appear until we were almost finished with our meal.Do not expect any drink refills during your meal - we didn't get any. This place is not ready to open for business.

My first visit to this establishment was about a year or so ago. They had one of the best dishes in this gastronomic wasteland called Freeport: A pork loin with a maple bourbon sauce with mashed sweet potatoes. Now, not so much. The pork loin is no more. The menu has gone downhill. The salad bar was good, it was made even better and then it became crap. The soup was palatable. It might have been great if it was actually hot rather than room temperature. My friends and I watched as the mechanical bull was installed and tweaked, as did the wait staff. Our service was disinterested and bordered on being rude. Overall a place that had some promise has degraded below mediocrity.

In the area about supper time. Heard they had good b roasted chicken. That is what we had, and all very happy with it. The place is noisy, but what can you expect for a sports bar. We will go again, just for the chicken..........

Went with a friend on a weekday at 2pm. Not many other's eating. I ordered soup and salad. She ordered mac n cheese. At 230 we asked for our food to go as we had to go back to work. Suddenly they show up with our food, the soup was congealed on top. The macaroni was cold too.Small portions too. Took it out in Styrofoam. I am in no rush to go back.

I wanted something for my Keto and low FODMAP requirements - BINGO! Looked at Loganâs menu, found what I wanted (Black and Blue Steak Salad, called in my order with alterations (no onion, no crouton, and no dressing), and drove over to pick it up. The person taking the order was friendly, efficient, and read back my order to make sure it was correct. I had difficulty finding the restaurant as it sits back off the road - not unusual for me when I am in an unfamiliar place. Now to the salad: FABULOUS!! Steak cooked to perfection (medium rare), the description in their menu matched exactly what I had in the salad, everything was fresh, and LOTS OF EVERYTHING!! I have lunch for the next day. Highly recommend this establishment based upon this one purchase!!

Great broasted chicken. Very busy on Sunday's which means slow service but is acceptable. Interior could use a massive power washing. Traveling folks still stop by to use the restrooms and then leave and purchasing nothing. Gets old as they tromp by you on the in and out of the restrooms.

A great place to watch the game, hangout with friends and family and get a beer or full bar menu. A great location and can get quite crowded with reunions, etc. Worth a visit while in downtown Freeport.

great Italian Food great service, nice little boutique
It had been a long time since our last visit. The wonderful piano music filled the restaurant of Friday evening. Our salads were fresh and nice bread. The pasta dishes we ordered were very good and fullOf flavors. The wine list is limited- however we found A good red to accompany our pasta. Service was very good.

I was here with family see a family member off who is in the Army National Guard out of Freeport. We at here from a recommendation. The building has amazing ambiance with a very vintage charm. The service was amazing here and the food was clearly homemade. The chicken dumpling soup was great, my chicken salad sandwich was perfect and the homemade sweet potato fries were crispy and tasty! I would drive the hour and a half back to try other items on the menu. They had a summer bar menu that made you laugh. I didn't try any alcohol but would like to next time. This place is large and would be great for a couple or a large family. If you live in the western suburbs, take a road trip to Freeport to have a nice lunch or dinner here.
