Definitely the best prices on Folly Beach for some really great food! We had adults and kids with us and everyone found something on the menu to enjoy: cuban sandwiches, fruity chicken salad, grilled cheese and one epic pb&j. The kids enjoyed rootbeer floats that they got to pour out of the bottle. Our waitress was great, she was the only one working the entire room and had several tables plus the bar guests and managed them all really well. The restaurant is a couple blocks off the beach but a very very short walk and totally worth it!

The dinners enjoyed at the restaurant in the Tides Hotel were delicious and made more so by the gorgeous ocean view. Grilled shrimp on Avocado Toast will bring (HAPPY) tears to your eyes. The cocktails were delightful. Key Lime pie, too. TRAVIS, OUR WAITER both nights, was entertaining, cheerful and helpful. Run, don't walk, to BLU at THE TIDES IN FOLLY BEACH, S.C.

Sunday evening dinner went real well. There was no wait and decided to dine inside as we all were not dressed for the cool breeze on the outside dining area. I will say though, the outside area would have provided a nice night time view of the pier and ocean as the moon was full. The grouper bites were delicious and the drinks - The Folly Vice and the Kokomo were also quite a treat. I would recommend giving this place a try.

First, great opportunity to sit outside and enjoy some great tunes on a Friday night. Great drink list, and Rita's was hopping as evidenced by 30+ minute wait. Sat and had some drinks which was just fine. The menu seemed strong, and looked forward to the meal. I had the barbecue with the fries and cole slaw. First the good stuff: the fries were scalding hot, and quite tasty, almost as if they were double cooked (in a good way mind you). High marks on the fries. The barbecue was just ok, and I hate to say that as I love barbecue and order it every opportunity. That being said, it was a good night, and next time I'd just shy away from the barbeque and find something else on the menu. But outdoor seating, music and wait staff were great.

In terms of food, we enjoyed a great meal everything you would expect from the other reviews. It was a very hot day, but we expect an air-conditioned restaurant to be at least moderately cooler. The Shack was unbearably hot. We had children with us and they melted down.Thank you for letting me know about your visit. One of the top dive bars on the East coast. Always good service and decent food. Outside patio with fireplace is inviting during the off season. Just remember this is not Kiawah.

Popped over to the Loggerhead while hanging on the beach. Cool spot, service was great, and the cheesesteak was delicious. Frozen drinks were awesome too. Great spot even if it is owned by a Philadelphia Eagles fan. ;-). Small price to pay for an awesome cheesesteak.

Wine selection was large and you could try all of them in small quantities if you wznted.The cheese and meat plate allowed for many choices. Portions were much larger than the norm on these plates and the six item plate was more than enough for dinner for the 2 of us. So glad this place opened! Definitely one of our regular go to restaurants. We've been about a dozen times. Some of my favorite mixed drinks ever. Food is always very good and very fresh. We love the open air concept. The set up is a bit weird about ordering food if you aren't sitting at the bar, but the rest is great. Staff has always been great. We love going for an evening boat ride, then walking to Lowlife for drinks and food after.
