We stopped in for snacks. We ordered the asiago cheese bread and the chocolate chip cookie which is served piping hot with a couple scoops of ice cream. We loved both of them.

Friends invited us to Murphyâs Pubhouse. When I learned that this restaurant was owned by the Murphy family, whose Murphyâs Steakhouse in Indianapolis had been the go-to place for great steaks in Indianapolis 40 years ago, I was anxious to have a nice juicy steak. So, when my time came to order, I ordered a New York Strip, cooked medium. The ladies in our party both ordered Chilean Sea Bass and the other gentleman ordered a burger. When the meals were presented, the bass looked great and the burger was a really man-sized affair. My strip didnât look so good.Looks werenât deceiving, the meat was impossible to cut with the knife that came with the meal. I soldiered on and asked for a sharper knife. The result was almost the same; however, just as I was able to get half way through what might have been saddle leather, Ryan, the manager showed up and asked me how I liked the steak. I responded that it was the toughest steak I had ever encountered (and it was).He appeared to be surprised and said another would be prepared. Our server appeared to clear the steak and remarked âThe steak looked a little rubbery when she served it.â as she cleared the dish away. Gosh! I know that good servers are hard to find; however, how on earth could a server knowingly put a clearly deficient dish in front of their customer? After several minutes, another steak appeared and with it the kitchen manager who apologized for the last meal and said that it had been taken from the kitchen before she had an opportunity to inspect it for quality. The next steak was fine â not memorable. Ryan returned to our table two other times to check on our satisfaction and the kitchen manager stopped once. A great recovery. The others in our party thought their dinners were very good. So, the moral of my story. Even if the restaurant calls itself a steakhouse, avoid the $15.00 strip and opt for the fish or $11.00 burger.

Sahm's Bar & Grill is a comfortable bar that is a favorite among locals and those visiting Indy. Many of the staff have been a part of the in-house team for 6 years plus, so the "everybody knows your name" line is often very true. As part of the Sahm's Re
Found this restaurant, Sahms Bar and Grill while visiting family in Fishers Indiana in a little strip mall off of 96th. Ordered a steak and cheese sandwich that was absolutely delicious. Chunks of tender steak perfectly cooked to order with grilled onion, green peppers and mushrooms. My husband had a pork tenderloin sandwich he said was very good along with fresh cut fries. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if youâre looking for somewhere to eat in Fishers.

This is in a very crowded area of Fishers. Luckily we were with a resident who took us in a "secret Batman entrance" off a side street and to a parking lot in the rear to find a spot. It was midday on a Friday and cars were everywhere. I found the pub itself quite dark with a sports-themed British Isles atmosphere, very appropriate for its name. We sat in the back corner at an elevated table where we could see the entire restaurant. Service was a little slow to begin with but quite friendly, once the server appeared. I ordered an earl club on ciabbata bread with homemade tavern chips which was a very, very good. I loved that all drinks were kept topped, including my water which is often ignored in restaurants for some reason I've never figured out. Kudos here. When we arrived, the place was less than half full. When we left, it was full and hopping, as were the town roads trying to get home. Fishers has become a very busy burg and Chatham's adds a nice spot to remove oneself from the mayhem for a bit. Remember, there's more parking in the back...

We visited this Brixx for the first time over the holidays with a large party of 14. They were able to get us seated right away and started serving drinks. The craft beer menu has many great choices. For appetizers, we got several different types of their wings, all of which were excellent. The pizza was tastey and the atmosphere enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend.

My friend and I got together for lunch here to celebrate his birthday. He had the Roasted Tomato Basil soup with a House Salad while I had the Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad. We both really liked our food and the service, which gave us all the time we wanted for an unhurried visit.

One of our favorite pizza places and bar to dine in. Last Friday night we came here for the Margarita pizza on whole wheat crust. It's our favorite. The salads here are great also. Great craft beers and my wife loves the red sangria. The breadsticks are piping hot, crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth soft on the inside. If you love breaded tenderloin sandwiches, theirs is one of the best. Good, friendly service.

This was a short walk from our hotel. Sat at the bar and since I am a wine drinker and they really had no choices but a couple I decided to get a beer. They probably have 20 or more beers without 15 on draft. I asked the TWO bartenders who were on for suggestions of an ale or something along the lines of Bass or New Castle and neither of them drank beer or could speak to ANY knowledge of the beer. How about training the staff or hiring bartenders that know their craft? The pizza was fair but the sauce is sweet and not just plain sauce.

Iâve been going to Sahmâs for twenty years, since this location was on the other side of Allisonville. Consistent experience, nothing fancy in either the food or service. Just always get what you expect. Here on this trip specifically to scratch the tenderloin itch, and it did not disappoint. Sahmâs doesnât serve hubcap-sized cuts, but you end up wasting some of those at other spots. Here it is lightly breaded and flavorful, and pairs nicely with onion rings. No prob getting it just like it should be, pickles, onions, and mayo. Only Miracle Whip would make it better!
