Time seems to stand still in Evora, a well-preserved medieval town that features protective walls, a 13th-century cathedral, several palaces, and a 1st-century Roman temple. No surprise that the town center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Even though it’s kind of creepy, don’t miss the Chapel of Bones, where the remains of nuns and monks are arranged in a haunting mosaic.

We've been to this bar to enjoy some drinks... During the first visit, the place was almost empty so I took the opportunity to make some pictures when a rude waitress came to tell me that "the amount of pictures taken were already enough"... Who decides how many pictures I will take during my vacations?! Nobody could complain about the pictures as I was not haressing anybody. After complaining to the management we came back at night for having some complementary drinks..., we've ordered a couple of flavored gins... different but correct... All under a arrogant look from this waitress/bartender... At the end she charged the drinks to the room... At check-out we informed this drinks should not be charged as they were complementary. Overall a bad experience.Dear JGordicho, To be noted that you have visited us as an "opinion maker/blogger". This situation has already been discussed and we have already explained the reason why our bartender had that attitude. We thought this matter would be over by now. We will not discuss it any further.

I just was there an hour ago (13:45) . Another group of french tourists as well. The service ignored us and finally when I asked the waitress said in a quite dry way: "wait about 10 minutes". We did wait 20 minutes. She came outside and entered several times not caring at all. The french tourists left...so did we. Is that hospitality? We found it rather rude.

Nestle in under the attractive vaulted ceilings of this cool and popular spot, tucked away in the narrow Rua da Moeda. Offers great meals at reasonable prices (mains â¬7 to â¬10) and drinks, from beer on tap to spirits. Sometimes has live acoustic music.
We were looking for late drinks on a Saturday night and we found the best place in town. The place is really amazing, it fits very nicely with the historic vibe of the city. The bartender is friendly, plays good music and provided us good information for the rest of our trip. Also, he has the best olives we ever had.Thank you for your kind comments. It's always a pleasure to meet nice people like you both.
