Passing through Evanston we tried the Lincoln Tavern a second time. The food was still good but we were disappointed by the servers. They were swearing and cussing like "seamen". Not that i don't talk like that occasionally but i don't think it is appropriate when waiting on the public. Not sure we will return.

I split a cobb salad and a turkey wrap with my friend, and take my turkey wrap 1/2 to go, as Iâm already satisfied with the 1/2 salad! Comes with beer battered fries or sweet potato fries or onion rings...$28 included two Arnold Palmers unlimited refills.

We love the Painted Lady! It's a very casual bar and restaurant with an awesome ambience. Their burgers and sandwiches are my new favorite in the area. Great fries too which is a huge bonus for me. :-) The owners are a local couple who are insanely nice and helpful. The service is great too. Two thumbs up and 5 stars from me. Give them a try if you haven't recently. We heard today that they are going to start having brunch Saturday and Sunday. Count me in!!
