We visit here now and then. Tonight we tried the Lobster mac and cheese and filet mignon sandwich. Both were underwhelming. The lobster mac and cheese had a runoff the mill mac and cheese sauce which was abundant and overpowered the flavor of any lobster. The lobster was small and soft not rubbery, but was lacking in the dish. The filet mignon came with fries and was lacking, flavor, seasoning and size. It was half the size of the bun, and didnt taste like it was prepared with any seasoning. However, it was cooked perfectly, it could easily be improved.

The surroundings and the service were fabulous . The brick oven pizzas are really good. Our waitress worked really hard and we were astonished how she successfully served the entire restaurant single handed. The menu is a little limited with regards to nibbles and appetisers but was a really enjoyable experience

Two visits last weekend. First visit, black bean burger for vegetarian in our group, nicely done. Pretty good pizza. Service was good. Second visit food good, but our waitress was odd. Gave us very monosyllabic answers, made us feel a bit awkward. The food was good. Maybe we caught the server on a bad night. Federal Taphouse is a good casual spot in Harrisburg, one of the better sports bars in town.

Our original Appalachian Brewing Company brewpub is located in historic Harrisburg, PA. The impressive three-story brick and heavy timber structure was built circa 1915. The lagering room portion of the brewery dates to 1890. Throughout the brewery, antiq
When you walk in it immediately looks like a giant log cabin. Super cozy, especially in these winter months. I sat at the bar, which had ample seating and was greated by 2 bartenders who let me try a couple samples and i went with the brut ipa 1st followed by the barleywine; both were excellent. I ordered the fire jumper as a turkey burger ams i loved it! They have a chipotle like mayo that has a great kick (you guys should make it a ranch too!) to the burger. My 1 complaint is that the chef didnt melt my cheese. It was a very mellow friday night so they have no excuse not to take an extra 10secs for that added touch everyone appreciates. All in all a great place to grab some comfort food and local beer

Heard good things about Nathan's. Boy were we disappointed. The dining room was freezing. My parents ate with their jackets on. My mother any myself ordered the seafood Combo which was $27.00. What a skimpy meal. We could have gotten twice the amount of seafood at Red Lobster for 20 bucks. There were only 3 tiny shrimp which were completely dried out. My husband ordered the Bacon Burger which was $8.50 and that didn't include fries. The fries and slaw were an extra $2.00. I generally thought the prices were high considering the quality and quantity of food. About the only GOOD thing was our waitress who was very nice and helpful. Kathy was efficient and kind. The coconut cream pie was absolutely delicious. Home made!!!!! Most likely won't return.

Changed plans to stop here on a recommendation while passing through the area, and glad I did! Almost 100 beers on tap, many brewed on premises, as well as other local and regional microbrews. The beer menu was amazing! The also featured numerous local and regional wines. We ordered pizza, subs, and tots. The pizza was decent, nothing great. They do have gluten free pizza on the menu if you need to dine GF. They do not offer beer flights which was a real bummer. With so many options, I wish I could have sampled more. You have to order at the bar. There is no hostess or wait staff. There is also no bar service. Everyone must go to one pf three locations to order your food or drinks. This really was NOT an issue. Would love to go back if passing through.

My family and I typically frequent Als Pizza of Enola once a week. We love the welcoming atmosphere and the neighborhood feel. Our favorites at Als are the Sausage and peppers appetizer, the tuna grinder with sweet peppers which is made with Als homemade rolls (so good) and their Als special boli and pizza. We enjoy sitting on the bar side of the restaurant, especially in the winter as the fireplace makes it cozy. Als is the best!!

The Millworks features a brewery, a rooftop biergarten, a local & sustainable restaurant, an outdoor courtyard, and 3 art galleries with 23 artist studios...all under one roof.
Typical trendy brewery/"farm to table" place. The view from the bar was nice overlooking the courtyard which unfortunately we could not use due to the rain. The bartenders were friendly. All of the staff were really young and bit unpolished. I bought something rather nice at the gift shop "gallery" and they threw it in the bottom of a bag. The waitress was nice but in a real rush to clear our plates and glasses. The food was ok, the rice in my dish was barely cooked at all. The beer was good, typical craft beer stuff. It was nice to be able to take 6 packs and even individual cans and bottles home. Would have liked more info on the history of the place. There were artists' studios we were told we could visit upstairs, but we felt really awkward walking in on the sole person working up there.

We were recommended to give this restaurant a try by our hotel as we were looking for a place to have dinner. Not all reccomendations from hotels turn out as hoped...this one was a great reccomendation. There were about 2o of us in our group and we ordered very different items from duck to a grilled cheese sandwich. .I ordered the lobster roll and was impressed with the quality...great variety of items to choose from and staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Yes I highly recommend...not a chain a good place to have a nice sit down meal
