We had heard about this place from several people & had finally gone with friends that have already been there several times. It was better than I had expected. The cheeseburger I had was good. It was served on a pretzel bun. It came with a bag of potato chips & was a little pricey, for a burger with just chips, but still not too bad. We were without kids & don't go out often, so I was ready for some cocktails. Those again, were pricier than what we are used to paying. The average for mixed drinks seemed to be $8.00, per plastic cup. They were good, it just added up quickly. It seemed to be a tourist spot, which explains some of the pricing. The environment was relaxing & the band was good. There were kids there & they had a kids food menu, but honestly it was much more enjoyable for us with just the adults. Will definitely be going back.
We ordered chicken nachos for $15?? Service was not great ...workers sitting around talking. I would come again for the atmosphere but probably not to eat for expensive bar food.

Our second time here, prompted by a previous impromptu afternoon stop where the appetizers, beverages, service, and atmosphere lured as back. This time for dinner and we weren't disappointed. This place is definitely worth a visit for a wonderful rural Wisconsin food and beverage experience.

I love the history of this place, with all of the vintage racing memorabilia and stories that surround it. There is even a famous painting called the Last Open Bar that is set there and we have a print of it hanging in our den. Please go there for at least a drink or two, you will not be disappointed. However, I just can't recommend the food, there are much better places to eat in town. We had the appetizer of clam cakes, which were about $10 and we received 2 that were about 2" in diameter. The burger I had didn't taste fresh and was so wet that the bottom bun fell apart from all the moisture. I also get that they have vintage furnishings in the dining room, but the chairs are extremely uncomfortable and some of the tables so short and/or small, you just don't want to be seated there very long. But go have a beer and soak in the history!

Everything our picky family ordered at 3 Guys was fantastic, including the friendly and professional service by Lauren. Weâve dined at restaurants all over the world and such friendly, charming service is unfortunately hard to come by even in very expensive restaurants. The food was all high quality served at a fair price and one of the best meal weâve had in Wisconsin. Highly recommended for simple, but very tasty fare served with a smile!

Lakeside restaurant with good food and wine list for dinner. Portions are large and the service and food are good. Meals could be split. Desserts are great. The "free" breakfast included with our hotel is at this place. We didn't really understand the breakfast layout on the first day and I felt the male "overseeing" the breakfast had a rather "brisk" or "curt" attitude like we were stupid for not understanding. There was a young girl who was timid but helpful. The food was the typical free breakfast found at mant hotels. Ambiance is great.

Wish I rememberd name of our waitress but fancy painted nails and middle aged gal and she was THE BEST!!! She said the owner was cooking that Wed night. The drinks and food was out so fast and we laughed telling her we weren't use to this kind of service as we had eaten at Lake Stret Cafe and food was good but service beyond terrible. Everyone liked their food and we had a wonderful experience there! Thanks Good Waitress!

There is a homey feel to this bar. Their menu is hand written each day. I had a hamburger and steamed broccoli. They both were great. No mushy veggies here. The lightning is dim but it is a bar so not an issue. There are swings for seating in some areas as well. The bartender was also our server and did a great job holding the fort down.
