McCoy's Public House is about great food, good drinks and excellent people. We strive to become your neighborhood gathering place for friends and family.
My family (with 2 kids) stopped here, because it looked very attractive inside and also had outdoor seating. The menu had a good variety of meals, including my wife's favorite "fish and chips." We also had Happy Hour snacks and beer that "hit the spot." Our server Francisc was very friendly and very attentive. The kids enjoyed him a lot. The prices were moderate and food very good.

Iâve never eaten at a restaurant with such an interesting mix of cuisines. The Senegalese Peanut Curry was excellent, as were the Phuket Noodles, the Chicken Tinga Tacos, the Cuban Pork, and even the Nachos. While many restaurants will offer a mix of cuisines, usually they donât prepare any one very well, but that was not the case here. I would definitely return.

This is a great place to go for all types of occasions: lunch, dinner, business meetings, parties, sports, etc. I love that they have sheets of paper where you can build your own pizza, burger, or salad. They give you options and how many of each. I always do the build your own salad. We were there once and the nachos weren't very good, but my husband liked his buffalo chicken wrap, and I love the build your own salad. The service can be a bit slow, and we purchased a membership where we get an additional discount and they can't find it but we paid for it? So that's a little annoying. But it's a great deal if it works! Thanks for taking a moment to review us! We would love to take a closer look into your club card membership, please reach out to us via the contact form on our website: thetaverngrill.com - We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you again soon!

I've visited the Low Brow a few times over the last several years and have always walked away happy. From brunch to lunch to dinner, the menu is solid with several tempting options; I've really liked everything I've had here. The service is very helpful and accommodating and the atmosphere is always relaxed and low key. I highly recommend the Low Brow for a late lunch on the weekend. You won't regret it.

They must have the largest freshest shrimp cocktail in MN. Their scallops are done extremely well also. Tried a chestnut soup special which was really delightful. The beef special was a little disappointing somewhat stringy. Great servers and ambience and not too loud.

Stopped in to have lunch at 12:30. Had the tuna melt which was wonderful. Husband had the double bacon burger which he thought was okay, just missed the mark taste wise. Had coleslaw for our sides. This is the worst coleslaw we have had in our lives. Wait staff never checked back in with us until we were three quarters of the way done with our meal. Explained that the coleslaw was awful & didn't have any dressing. We were told that's the way it is served there. Gave us a side of fries, which I do not like, but our meal was over.

Handcrafted burgers. And a whole lot more. Providing a sophisticated twist on the classic neighborhood tavern, Red Cow celebrates finely crafted eats and drinks with a focus on gourmet burgers, craft beers, and fine wine.
Overall a good experience. Was going to do a Reuben, but was afraid of being disappointed. Iâm pretty picky about my Ruebens. Tried a Patty Melt which was so-so. Came with soggy bottom bread. Ended up eating just the patty, because it was so fat it did not extend to the edges of the bread. Did not care for the sauce they put on it. The french fries were just warm. SO had root beer pulled pork sandwich which was really good, but his fries were only warm too. I hesitate to complain at a restaurant, but I guess I need to do so. I would try the place again, the ambience is great, and it is extremely clean. The staff was pleasant also. We did have the cheese curds which were really good.

New British pub in Minneapolis
I would definitely recommend calling ahead, no matter what day because seating is limited. It saved us an hour wait. Parking is so so, we parked around the corner on a side street, up a hill. When we arrived we were greeted and brought to our table right away. Our waiter was very personable and very attentive. The one downfall is it is very loud and hard to hear the people you are with. The onion and bacon dip was amazing. Steak sandwich melts in your mouth. The braised beef was a tad dry but still good. Overall, it was worth the stop.
