Changed plans to stop here on a recommendation while passing through the area, and glad I did! Almost 100 beers on tap, many brewed on premises, as well as other local and regional microbrews. The beer menu was amazing! The also featured numerous local and regional wines. We ordered pizza, subs, and tots. The pizza was decent, nothing great. They do have gluten free pizza on the menu if you need to dine GF. They do not offer beer flights which was a real bummer. With so many options, I wish I could have sampled more. You have to order at the bar. There is no hostess or wait staff. There is also no bar service. Everyone must go to one pf three locations to order your food or drinks. This really was NOT an issue. Would love to go back if passing through.

Really nice friendly place. Nice choice of beer and some moonshine drinks. Soft pretzel was good and so was a panini. Tried eight of their many beers and found all were good but, neither my wife or I found one to love. Food was also good but not great. All of the above means that they have room for improvement and they are trying. We did have a good time and will go back!

We had lunch at The Waterfront Bar &Grill on a sunny May afternoon. My husband had the ribs and I had the grilled chicken salad. Both were generous portions and good. We sat under the umbrella and looked across the Susquehanna River toward the historic Fort Hunter Mansion and Park which we explored the next morning and afternoon..

We were recommended to give this restaurant a try by our hotel as we were looking for a place to have dinner. Not all reccomendations from hotels turn out as hoped...this one was a great reccomendation. There were about 2o of us in our group and we ordered very different items from duck to a grilled cheese sandwich. .I ordered the lobster roll and was impressed with the quality...great variety of items to choose from and staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Yes I highly recommend...not a chain a good place to have a nice sit down meal

We moved to the area in 1992, found Mastracchio's and have been going there ever since. Just there last week and my wife and I enjoyed a steak special and an orange roughy special and it was great. They always have a variety of great beer's on tap and also great desserts. It isn't much to look at but an evening of great friendly service and great food will make a night to remember!

We recently visited the Stoney Creek Inn for dinner. Although it's close to home, we've only been there three or four times in the past 10 years. Prior to going, I read both the Yelp and TripAdvisor reviews and I was a little nervous about taking friends, as there were numerous comments about the poor service and attitudes of the wait staff. But we went in spite of those, and we were pleasantly surprised. We were met within a minute or so of walking in the front door and seated immediately. The waiter showed up shortly thereafter and took the drink orders. He gave us enough time to talk with our friends and decide what we were having. He took our orders and within 5 minutes or so the salads arrived. Because we were talking and eating, it may have taken longer to finish this course, and I was afraid that the entrees would be served before we finished the salads, but he waited until we were all finished with the first course before bringing the entrees. The main course was delicious. My wife and I had the Chicken Chesapeake and we couldn't have asked for a better choice. We both continually commented throughout the meal how great the food was and it really was. I am not a foodie, so don't expect me to describe the ingredients and how it was made. Take my word for it...it was good! Due to the amount of food we received, we did not opt for desert. The table was promptly cleared when we were finished eating and shortly thereafter we received the bill. All in all, I was extremely happy with our evening at the Stoney Creek Inn and hope that our experience was the norm and not a fluke. The wait staff were all attentive and competent, but not talkative. They did their jobs and we were pleased with the entire evening.

People love pizza and to me Sorrento's is the best. It might be my bias since I grew up in Duncannon but I have compared places all over and they don't compare. The quality and price cant be beat. I don't make it up as much as I used to but every time we go there its the same. Great value and the pizza and subs are the best. I have fond memories playing video games there and my family getting pizza on Christmas Eve with Sam giving customers bottles of wine (or champagne I was young so not sure). I have taken subs and pizzas back to NC many times from there. Staff has always been nice and I never had a complaint. Well...except that they don't open a branch in NC. We used to joke as teenagers that the extra grease was no charge. The addition of the bar and outdoor area in the early 90's was nice. Growing up there was just the area with the orange chairs and pizza kitchen. Locals may take it for granted but you'll find no better for a good slice at a great price. People forget that Sorrento's was there 15-20 years before Zeiderellis.

A stay at the Doyle is a tradition for Appalachian Trail hikers as they pass through Duncannon. But that's the only reason to stay--because it is a tradition. This p kg ace is a serious dump (in a kind of charming way). Common showers are pretty grimy. The only outlets in the rooms are in the overhead light fixtures. There is no air conditioning in the guest rooms. No laundry on site, but there is a coin laundry down the street. I have stayed their one (extremely hot) night so I have checked that block. I won't be back. Having said all of that, a one night stay for one person is just $25 plus tax so it's not a terrible value.

When you are on the road, and hungry, you find the most interesting place to stop. We prefer local fare and stopped for lunch. I ordered the Waffles and Chicken, highlighted as a special. Waffle was barely cooked and chicken and gravey not so special. Sorry to say that I was disappointed. I think this restaurant could be so much more. Service was excellent but not enough to change my mind about the food.
