My husband and I went on a Saturday during the day. (3/26/16)The bar wasn't busy at all. Our waitress Mackenzie brought all of her customers pop corn but us. I got tired of waiting for her to return and went to get my own and another employee jumped down my throat about helping myself. (well, if the wait staff would do their job) We were also disgusted by Mackenzie wearing tight black see threw leggings. We could see her skin/butt threw it all. It was absolutely disgusting. Someone who is serving you, bringing your food should not be dressed like this. This is supposed to be a family place and that's the last thing I want my family to see!

It is a great local spot that feels like home. Clean place with very friendly staff. Simple menu with several off-menu specials each day. I have visited several times with co-workers for lunch. Every time was a good experience with great meals.

The truffle burger was absolutely amazing! Although they were out of the special meat they use for it and didnât give me any type of discount, it was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be returning for some yummy food and great service!

Craft beer, boutique wine, classic cocktails. Plus gourmet wood-fired pizza and more from The Cosmos!
As far as your Lansing options go, this is one of the better places. That being said, if in any real city, it would be average. Zoobies is known as a trendy cocktail place with good food, particularly the pizzas they serve from their neighbor/sister restaurant Cosmos next door. The cocktails are okay â not the best but certainly better than most establishments in Lansing. They have great beer on rotating taps. FThe food is good. The pizza is creative and tasty. (Again, itâs not real Italian or NYC pizza but a solid midwestern artisan pizza). One pizza for two to three people works well, depending on how hungry everyone is and whether you get an appetizer or salad. The salads are good and come with choice of steak or jerk chicken topping. The music is too loud. I visited with two friends and we had to shout across the small table at each other even though the restaurant was only moderately busy. During a break in the music, we could hear each other fine. Thatâs really an unfortunate aspect of the atmosphere. I return again and again because it really is one of the best places in Lansing to get some grub and have a decent beverage. (Would be vastly improved if it could actually hear the voices of my friends.)

This Irish Pub actually felt like an Irish Pub, fireplace, decor of dark woods, the menu of traditional Irish dishes, (the brats n sauerkraut...yum). Great food, reasonably priced, service was fine. Might have to return when the bands are there, Iâm thinking itâd be a great time!

The Lansing Brewing Company serves as a living testament to the hard-working men and women who built our great city. We embrace our city's roots while heralding in a new beer-loving generation just in time for Lansing's rebirth. Visit our tap room for a c
Started inside but because it was so crowded, we couldn't hear each other let alone conversation across the table. We asked to sit outdoors even though it was very hot outside. Both servers and hosts were very good. No food this time but did enjoy our beer, Angry Mayor is a solid IPA and Amber Cream a smooth lighter beer.

My husband got take out after a few drinks. It was like a calzone, one with meat, one veggie. Both tasted bland. Veggie was a mushy mess not worth the $5-something paid for it! It was thrown away ASAP. Never eat here!!

I have a soft spot for dive bars. The waitress was the owner's daughter who was wonderful. The Olive burger was outstanding! I hadn't had one in years! The drinks were good and the service was fast. I will definately go back. Just know that it isn't fancy.

Visited here for a farewell party for a friend. First visit. Great Impression. The atmosphere was terrific. Service was outstanding. Our server handled multiple people, with separate checks and no problems. A hot hors d'oeuvres table was set up for our group. The selection and quality were very good. The trays never ran empty. Those who ordered from the menu were very satisfied. The beer menu offered something for every taste. Definitely worth a return visit.

You walk in and seat yourself. We picked a big booth. I went to sit down and the seat cushion is cracked and starting to fall apart. It looks old and gross. Looking around, the lights on the wall above regular booths are covered in dust and cobwebs. I asked for allergy information and was handed a bulky three ring binder. Not every item they serve is in it. The clam chowder for example. As a vegan I do not eat dairy, eggs, meats, or seafood. I thought about trying the Spicy Black Bean Burger. The patty has no eggs in it, but the gluten free bun does. Waitress said they could use lettuce instead of the bun. I chose the Turkey Orchard Salad, minus the turkey. I added black olives, tomato and onion. Mango Chardonnay dressing. The food came out and the salad looked full of toppings. The dressing was in a to go cup with a lid. I found a few slices of carrots in the salad. I don't think those were supposed to come with it and I did not add them. The dressing has a mellow flavor and I could have used another cup of it. The two other dishes we ordered were nachos and a hamburger. Each meal came with a plastic to go cup with a lid. The nachos is a large portion. Each drink that came out had one or two plastic straws in it. I mention all the one time use plastic because this place is "green." On their website there is a paragraph about it. They should know plastic is not green. We had over a dozen plastic straws used tonight at our table alone. There is a video online showing a sea turtle with a plastic straw stuck in it's nose. It was pulled out with pliers and looked painful.Â
