After an accidental fire destroyed the entire building in 2009, a long rebuilding process followed. Rising from the ashes like the phoenix, the Graduate Bar and Restaurant was re-developed and fully restored, and has now regained it's place at the heart o

We had dinner at Hardyâs Bar because they were so kind to put on a German Euro qualifyier match on their numerous TVs (no German channels in the room...). While the match was not enjoyable at all (a humiliating loss against one of our three archrivals, the Dutch) the food and drinks and the friendly staff made up for at least some. My wife was happy with her hake and my sister with her salmon, while I was wondering how it was possible to make linguine with oyster mushrooms and cream sauce as thin and boring as here. Anyway, the trusty Guinness helped me to overcome both setbacks.By the way, when you recognize players only from their positions, itâs either time to turn up the volume (not possible in a bar where only one party is interested, but first come first serve) or for an upgrade to HD.

Great bar, busy on weekends, lots of reused sofas and chairs, cool events (open mike and movie nights) during the week, good selection of beer, and they also offer food (from Camille Thai across the road). Its kind of like sitting in someone's living room, except with good music and beer on tap!

We had a reasonable lunch in the Library Bar Killiney Castle Hotel. The service was efficient. We had a quick lunch and it was pleasant. We would recommend the soup sambo combination and also the club sandwich

This very nice establishment is everything you expect of a cosy, classic Irish pub. Comfortable, warm, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I wish we had more pubs like this at home in Australia! A good selection of drinks; we didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food. Thanks for a lovely evening.Glad you enjoyed your visit to us and many thanks for nice review.

Visited The Magpie Inn in Dalkey on the recommendation of a friend. We were looking for a casual spot for good food and a few drinks on a Friday evening. The Magpie Inn ticked all the boxes. Delicious food..we had chicken wings, the house burger, fish and chips. Also treated ourselves to some cocktails which were really nice, with our favourite being the New York Sour. Two really nice floor staff topped the evening off with their friendly and efficient service. Would recommend and will certainly be back!

A public house, family owned and run in the village of Dalkey. We serve lunch from 12.30-3.30 everyday.
If you find yourself in Dalkey (and you should), spend sometime at Finnegans's. We had lunch here as we made our way along the Irish coast on the DART. The food was good and the service prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this place. Very close to the station; prices were reasonable.

We found this place because we're staying at Fitzpatrick Castle and was looking for some good food. We found it! The food was top notch and the service was friendly and attentive without being invasive. The steak was cooked perfectly and the warm goat cheese salad was absolutely delicious. Do your self a favor and have a pint or two, craic, and wonderful food in this beautiful pub.
