We always show up at this place close to closing time because it will give us time to sober up from the night before us and we know that the food will be exactly what we need. Greasy, carb loading and filling. The burgers and fries are always a great go-to and it seems like they have quite a few regulars. Don't take a date to impress here but if you are needing good bar food--this is the place to go.

Local Brewery featuring 12 of our own beers on tap and many award winning. Many local food offerings and full bar. Daily specials include Friday FishFry and Sat Prime Rib. 2Nd floor is home to Pizzeria and full bar with many large screens for the games.
There are tons of beer selections from all over the area so no shortage of good drink ideas. Our dining party included a 5 year old so when the drink selection included local root beer, that sold everybody on a "different" beer. The menu has lots of choices and everything we ordered was tasty, hot and nicely sized. The service was friendly but could have been a little quicker but gave them a pass because our two waitstaff had the entire restaurant.

We often go to Tanner's for a pub-type meal when there is a sporting event on we don't want to miss while eating! The food is not great, but it's certainly as good as most of the area pubs. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Service is spotty; sometimes very good, and sometimes lax. Probably not a place to go if you are in a hurry. I think lots of folks go to sit for an entire game which can make getting a table challenging, and it certainly isn't an incentive for anyone to work there because tables would not be turning over frequently enough. That might account for the occasionally slow service. Last time there I had fish fry which was fine. My husband had the clam chowder which he thought was not made fresh in the kitchen but purchased by them already prepared. The nachos are pretty good and plentiful.

We have visited many Bonefish Grills across America. They are consistently well managed. As a national chain, the menu is consistent across locations. The Madison venue is less than five years old. It is pleasant with excellent lighting/decor/noise level. There is a bar area with seating capability. There is a private room. The large dining room has booths and tables. On this occasion, we ordered swordfish with pumpkin ravioli and pecan crusted trout with mashed potato and haricot vert beans. Both were very good. Wine list is acceptable. We had a very good Pinot Grigio from Italy (Bella Sera). It was moderately priced. Wait person was attentive and professional. Reservations are a must.

When in town for an appointment, my husband and I Googled a place to have a quick bite for lunch. This was our stop. We seated ourselves at the bar. Serverice was fast and friendly. I had the veggie burger. All sandwiches had the option of a side salad--a nice, leafy green side salad. That was my choice for a side. It was a nice option beyond fries or iceberg. The bar had a good selection of liquors and tap beers as well. Loved the cozy atmosphere that is based on the name. It would fun to go to in winter while some snow falls. It would be very comfy cozy! All in all, a nice visit with good food and drinks!

Nice enough place with a varied craft beer selection My walleye sandwich was generous and delicious My wifeâs beet and goat cheese salad was basically a bowl of spinach- a few shredded beets and a minuscule amount of cheese- this in the state known for cheese Would probably give it another try but hopefully do better with selection of dinner entree- next time would send it back

Established in May 2006, RP Adler's Pub & Grill has become a favorite by Madisonian's and travelers alike. Great casual dining with great blue collar service is what sets our restaurant apart. Hospitality like it oughta be!
Enjoyed the service and food. Ribs and prime rib well prepared. Good choice for a casual lunch or dinner. Grandson loves the Mac and cheese with brisket.
We had time to kill between a wedding and the reception. So where to go in the middle of farm country west of Madison? There was Hooty's on Main Street in Cross Plains. Our group of 20 swarmed the lone bartender but he handled it well. The classic Wisconsin Brandy Old Fashion sweet was the best I had on this trip. Some food was ordered but I never got a chance to try it. Everyone had a great time at this local tavern.

A true Wisconsin Supper Club nestled atop a rolling hill, just minutes from Madison, WI. The Hilltop features choice steaks, slow roasted prime rib, cod and perch fish fry, pork Porterhouse and pork back ribs. On Sundays, our brunch buffet is a must try!
I'm sorry to say, even though I enjoy the Friday Fish Fry, I am very disappointed in the wine portions. The last time we went, they was so little wine in my glass, I decided not to go there again. What a difference in their portions, compared to all other restaurants. This is not a good way to save money!Thank you for taking the time to post a review.Weâre glad you enjoy our Friday fish fry but sorry you feel our wine portions are not adequate. The wine pours at The Hilltop are always between 6 and 7 ounces. Many establishments prefer a 5 ounce pour as it gives them 5 servings of wine per bottle. Our wine glasses are large, 20 ounces, so it might *seem* like youâre getting less wine when youâre actually getting a generous amount when compared to most restaurants.Hope this helps!
