Good food, good atmosphere, very friendly staff members. Mussels were great and so all the starters. I felt my fish was a little on the greasy side but still very good!!

The main menu is small but varied but you come here for the daily specials depending on what fish has been caught that day. Good sized portions letting the fish & seafood take centre stage. Staff friendly & knowledge who will recommend local products which is as it should be. Prices for all pockets.

Always being told that we should go to the 3 Tuns and always been disappointed. This place was freshly painted, we could reserve a table and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu was good (especially for the veggies) and although nothing really stunning was all homecooked and good value.

Diving/staying round the corner at Porthkerris, you can get a real local proper pub grub eat here. We were lucky as we called in at last minute but the management took order with no quibble. as its local, independent and quite cut off you should expect to pay a little more with meals at £10-£12 each, more of course for items such as steak. Sometimes you can get more spicy Asian dishes as well. I recommend booking especially on weekends and close to bank hols otherwise could be 1-2 hours wait, and food will stop at 21:00This is exactly half way on the great south west coast path.

We ate at the Prince of Wales twice recently on our trip to the Helston area. Both of our meals on both occasions were delicious. They even brought in a television to show the England women's world cup semi-final match which made for a nice atmosphere.

The Three Tuns is a family-friendly pub in the heart of St Keverne, on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula, which was recently voted one of the best places to live in the UK by the Sunday Times. â We serve coffee and cake from 10am daily, with food available t
Ideal one night stop during a three day burst of cliff walking. Very friendly welcome and with the exception of the lack of a Vodafone signal - even standing on the outdoor fire escape! - we really enjoyed our stay.Dinner was really good with excellent fish in particular and the full breakfast was just what you need before nine more miles going up, down along the cliff path. The room was spacious with a modern shower room and despite being right on the square sleep time was really quiet from around 2200hrs.Highly recommend and reasonably priced. We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and that we set you up well for your next day walking our beautiful coastal path. Unfortunately a lack of reception for some mobile phone networks is still something of a curse for very rural Cornwall - a pay off the peace and quiet!

Just spent a most enjoyable fortnight in the villageThe Paris is the hub of the village...The local ales are competitively priced, and well kept. The food is of excellent quality ..Mrs loved the local Mussels..(Im allergic so cant voch how good they were..but looked great)We have 2 vegans in our party..both with different food allergies..this again was not a problem for Ian and his team..who sorted them out some great food. The home cooked ribs and chilli are to die for!

The Cutty Sark has an informal pub style dining area on the upper level as well as more formal restaurant on the ground floor that is also available for private party hire.
I booked a table by phone and was surprised to find the Pub restaurant almost empty. We were worried whether this was because the food was not up to much but were in for a surprise. The roast lamb with vegetables we ordered was lovely and rich, very tasty.Quite a different experience from other Sunday roasts in town recently, which haven't been up to scratch one way or another, from lukewarm or uncrispy roast potatoes or swimming in gravy. We found out later that the Pub had only just restarted offering Sunday lunches.Definitely worth another visit or two.
