Reviews on Bar food in Columbus, New Jersey, United States. Columbus is an unincorporated community located within Mansfield Township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08022. Most of Mansfield Township's governmental offices are located in and around Columbus. It is also the main business district in the township with many businesses lining the main roads in the area. The old surface route became state-maintained New Jersey Route 170 but became a county-maintained road (Burlington CR 690) in 1986.

Our daughter recently moved to Chesterfield and we were happy to discover the Chesterfield Inn. We ate there twice and enjoyed the dinners as well as the bar menu selections. The prices are reasonable and the building has a lot of history which is detailed on their menus. Needless to say, I'm sure will be visiting often.

The King George II Inn established in 1681 is on the National Historic Registry as one of the oldest continuously operated Inns. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week with a view of the Delaware River from 2 of our 5 dining rooms. Join us!
Have been coming here for years and we are never disappointed. Food and service are consistently the best! Since the new owners took over several uears ago, the quality is amazing. Everything is fresh and entree portions are large. Our waitress, Denise, was very engaging and efficient. Full menu service for lunch and dinner. Several dining areas, including a bar area with some table seating. Nice to sit in either the downstairs or upstairs rooms with a river view. There is a limited menu on nights when the Bristol Riverfront Theater has performances, but the options are plentiful and excellent. We split a Pecan Pear Salad to begin. The salad was large enough for both of us to enjoy a hearty portion. I opted for the fresh catch, which was red snapper. Served with rice pilaf or buttermilk mashed and quite a large amount of fresh, not overcooked, broccoli. It was excellent and quite a bit to eat. Hubs opted for a pasta and shrimp dish, equally as good. We ended by sharing a small, but wonderful lemon/lime tartlett. Many diners were taking home doggie bags. Definitely recommend eating here.

Last weekend we celebrated my husbandâs 40th birthday party at the banquet hall at Oâcconors. The experience was amazing. The restaurant accommodate my food allergies guests. The staff was attentive and professional. The food was delicious and the presentation magnificent. The bar never ran out of beer or wine and the whole event ran on time. The banquet room has the own independent entrance, coat closet and restrooms. Itâs big, comfortable and also beautiful. The bar is huge and the floors are recently renovated. Thank you Betsy and Pat ( managers ) for all your patience and assistance.

Homey, friendly and clean! Husband and I would always comment upon leaving Farnsworth Avenue restaurant-- "we have to try that place" as we passed it going home. Finally stopped by today for an early dinner and we were not disappointed. Every thing we tried was outstanding, Nice variety of chicken wing sauces. Creative sandwiches. Owner Mary introduced herself and made us feel welcome as did the locals. Can't believe Hob Tavern has been around for 16 years and we somehow missed it! We will be back! Great value.

Noisy bar scene surrounded by TV's.Quick service. Courteous server.Pricey menu (it took me a long while to find something savory & affordable).I got a decent seafood chowder & overpriced crab sandwich (Philips is better!)

We were greeted with a hearty hello and a warm smile from our waitress, Samantha. Samantha was very attentive and patient while we wrestled with our order as everything sounded good. My friend ordered the filet mignon sandwich, without cheese, however he got the cheese - not that he doesn't like cheese he just didn't want it - he still really enjoyed his sandwich. Meanwhile his wife and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. While all the sandwiches came with a side of french fries, the pulled pork came with a good and very tasty portion of cole slaw - something I rarely eat - which made the pulled pork taste even better as it added a little crunch to the sandwich, We also ordered a side of their macaroni & cheese, which was creamy and delicious. I am looking forward to visiting this place again and try something else, especially their nachos which looked very appetizing.

It is one of the best known and oldest restaurant in Bordentown. Excellent food and friendly staff, where the owner is from Italy.really cares
We love the atmosphere at Jester's, both inside and out. During the warmer weather, the street side seating is wonderful. During the cooler weather, the window seating is equally wonderful. However, the food is average, at best. The last two times I ordered a pasta dish, the sauce was so incredibly salty that I couldn't finish it. The drinks are likewise average, sometimes less than.In the end, if atmosphere is important to you, and you do not mind average food, give it a try.
