Traditional pub food and excellent cask ales in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales.
Motorcycling around England we were finding it difficult to get accommodation in the Yorkshire Dales but the Craven Heifer had rooms so we took a chance for a 3 nighter & so pleased we did.The pub is under new ownership & management along with fully refurbished rooms, each with en-suite.We were warmly welcomed by Lynne who showed us to our room, which was equipped with a very comfy king size bed. The room size is good & the toilet shower ensuite clean & a great shower. The food on offer is high standard pub menu with vegetarian options. The bar is lively at night & good fun but doesnât intrude too much if you need an early night.Congratulations to Lynne & her team for a great well run pub & rooms - we loved our time there!

The Old Hill Inn is an ancient inn of great character, part of which dates back to 1615 and the other part 1835. Originally a farm, then Drovers inn, now specialising in delicious home cooked food and excellent puddings. A family of chefs run the establis
Six of us had a wonderful meal here on Tuesday evening. Great service, really well cooked food and imaginative and well presented desserts. Enjoyed it so much that we returned on Wednesday evening for a repeat performance and we were all equally impressed. Recommend for great food, friendly service, old world ambience and good selection of beers.

Authentic Kansas City Bar-B-Q!
Went here for dinner with friends, mid-week, having pre-booked a table a couple of hours beforehand.Staff were great to deal with. The food was fresh and tasty. The men's toilets need attention/fixing - other than that, no complaints.

Restaurant and Bar serving all knids of food, large function room, real ales and a beer garden. located next to Knight Stainforth Hall Caravan Park
Stopped at the campsite and made use of the restaurant for breakfast, Sunday dinner and an afternoon tea (separate days!). We all enjoyed the service and the food and the setting. Particularly helpful being dog friendly. Iâm lost for words describing how happy we were with it all but weâre planning a return stay for next year.

Masons Freehouse. Publice House, open daily. We serve food all day. We have three cosy en- suite bedrooms. We have traditional ales and logs fires.
Visited on a Tuesday evening at 7.00, having booked - place was packed out and whilst we had a reserved table it was a little cramped. Food was very good and service was good if a little slow. beer was excellent . Pricing wise a little high but not excessive - Would visit again - but ensure you book!

This is just the place we needed (all 30-odd of us) after heading off in 3 different groups for the day to Ingleborough Cave, Gaping Gill, Ingleborough and various other destinations in the area. The bunkhouse cafe and bar is conveniently right next to the car & coach park, the terrace outside is lovely and sunny (when the sun's out - it was when we got back at 4.30 anyway, though it had been really cloudy and cool earlier) and the main offerings switch seamlessly from cafe to bar at about end of a walk time - ever so convenient. It's a quirky old stone building and the bar's not large, but there are friendly locals drinking in there too and they'll recommend the best beer to go for. Great spot!

Welcome to The Game Cock Inn a Traditional Yorkshire Dales pub, restaurant and B&B with a cosy bar, real fire, award winning restaurant, delicious food with a French twist and comfortable, quality accommodation.
Arrived without booking and asked for a table and was told one would be just refreshed for us and ready in a couple of minutes, ordered drinks while waiting to then be told there was no availability for 2 hours. The pub did appear to be very busy which I would imagine is reflective of popularity generally but poor service to back that up, my young daughter and I went elsewhere.
