After visiting Menorca for a few years now my daughter and I recently stumbled across this area! We had cafe con leche desnatada and tosta tomate plus more! Delightful service and great area to relax! Would visit everyday if I lived here! Worth a visit & very cheap too!

Stopped for lunch, was very busy and a good mix of locals and tourist. Had three plates, chicken goats cheese and the tortilla. Chicken was fab, cheese and tortilla was ok if standard stuff. Atmosphere was cooler than a cool thing and the location is fab. The Locals have a high standard of living so expect to pay top dollar here. Was a lovely way to spend a few hours and become a local.

We had lunch here on three occasions. The food was always good and the fries were really yummy. The staff are very efficient and very friendly and the service was excellent. I couldn't fault this cafe and would recommend it.

This place is brilliant, great play area to keep kids entertained for hours. The waitress that served us was so friendly and welcoming. The club sandwich was delicious as were the toasties. They have large oscillating fans that spray water....very much needed as itâs so hot! Would definitely return if in the area again.

This place is quite nice but can get very busy due to the entertainment they put on. The night we went there was a singer, he was really good. Wide choice of food at a reasonable price, we felt the service was a bit slow and that theyâd forgotten us, but this didnât spoil our evening.

We found this place on a walk around the area and decided to eat here on our last night. How we wish we had known how good it was and would have eaten here every night.We both chose pizzas and they were great - perfect thin crust, lovely toppings and generous size. Pint of lager was 3.80 and we rounded off the meal with coffees and brandies. Huge goblets of brandy and lovely coffee. Menorcan 'slushy' gin arrived with the bill - delicious. Staff member serving was very friendly and efficient. Do yourself a favour and keep walking at the end of the strip, take the middle road as if walking to the Almirante Farragut and you'll come to Casual Bar. After several disappointing meals at neighbouring restaurants we decided on Montassa. To be honest I didn't really want burger and chips as I was keen to try Menorcan cuisine but I'm so glad we did. The best and cheapest meal of holiday. Fresh, service great, busy, amazing atmosphere and delicious. We ordered two build your own burgers and a salad. Brilliant.

In a party of nine including 5 children. Heard about this place, so went to see for ourselves, only 10 minutes from. Hotel (talayot) must be honest was a bit disappointed the water looked dirty with seaweed and small rocks on the waters edge.sunloungers and parasols were expensive, two places to eat but one didnât serve till midday, the other only had one flavour of slush, kids werenât impressed, not as good as I expected but it was a change of scenery

Castaways is such a welcoming restaurant, the staff go out of their way to be as friendly as possible and make you laugh. The food is amazing and the prices are really reasonable, we have been here multiple times for both food and drinking and all our visits have been perfect! Make sure you try the pizza itâs to die for!!
