Foods great and their BBQ sauce was fantastic. Prices can vary from cheap to relatively expensive but the menu covers every budget. If you looking for an inexpensive lunch or dinner opt for the bbq cheese fries. Big enough for a meal on its own and one of the cheapest things on the menu. Compared to many restaurants in chengdu, Blue Frog is very good but overall it is ok. The restaurants is very nice with dynamic and modern tables and furniture. The staff and service can be a little slow and might speak very well english. While waiting you can watch some of the sport programmes at the tv or listen to some modern music. The menu offers a very big variety of different foods (which from my point of view is not necesseraly a good thing) which most of them are good. I like the most the burgers burgers and fried squid. The price are quite high, I recommended, specially for the meat.

We stumbled into Decanter after a full afternoon of sightseeing in Chengdu only to grab a quick drink. But due to the excellent service of Mark Chen we stayed there for two hours enjoying the afternoon happy hour and free flow Prosecco. The buffet offeres a nice variety of Western and Asian cuisine.And Mark made sure, that our class was never empty. Excellent service!

I visited with my family on an afternoon for some snacks. We wanted a mid afternoon break from sightseeing so we decided to snack on the Afternoon Tea Service at the Ritz in Chengdu.I would like to begin by saying that hotel and lobby lounge is very beautiful. It's airy, modern and meets the standards expected of a Ritz Property. The music was soothing, and the service upon arrival was great, but that's when it ends. I was with my two elderly grandparents and my parents, and we were looking for light refreshments we ordered the Afternoon Tea Service (meant for two) to try, and one coffee , and some water to start. I was shocked that server requested that we order two more beverages as we had two more people. I understand where they are coming from but there are many more discrete and pleasant ways of doing this. and I am disappointed at the Ritz. So we ordered another coffee and tea.For the high tea service, we were recommended the Asian Inspired one.The service was exceptionally slow, and lucklustre.The tea service itself was hugely disappointing. The pastries we were served were small in portion and definitely not meant for two people as there was not two of each variety. I appreciate that they tried to offer a large variety of samples, but I've never been to an afternoon tea service for two where each pastry did not come in a set.......Furthermore, some of the varieties such as the scones were lukewarm and did not appear freshWe also never had our water refilled and never once did an attendant ask how we were doing. The minimum service requirements were met (napkin change, utensils), but that was it. It was my first time at the Ritz Chengdu and my first time having afternoon tea at a Ritz property. I've had afternoon tea in North America and in Asia, and this is the most disappointing service. However, if you are just there for a pricier pint of beer or a cup of coffee, the experience will probably still be a pleasant one as the property is beautiful and the view is great.Dear Yi Ping, we are very sorry for the unpleasant experience that you and your family had in lobby lounge. I came here at around 20:30 and there were only chicken and beef burgers on the menu. Not sure where the items in other reviews were coming from. Burger was extremely average at best. Onions rings on top of it were burned.I also had a Corona and found out when I had almost finished it that it was already 4 months over date.Overall quite dissapointed and cannot recommend.hey man sorry we didnt nail it when you were in. we had just changed the menu in mid August. but anyway if youre ever around again ill buy you a shot and we can chat about it ... sorry again

I had heard that Giliâs was the new place to be in Chengdu for a pizza. So I was pretty keen to try the mushroom pepperoni pizza Brilliant. Exactly like I enjoy them - thin crust, great toppings. Perfection.

I really enjoyed anywhere in China I didn't have to push my way around. To top it off this place is beautifully decorated, has a roof top area and the food was good and the drinks were great.
