We decided to visit this particular mellow mushroom because of the others being so good. I had the mighty meaty pizza. It has five different meats and is usually delicious, this time I really wish I would have saved my money. They were out of three of the beers written on a chalkboard at the front door, HINT, it's a chalkboard, erase the beers you are out of. The girl that seated us was also our waitress, the moment we were seated, she asked if we knew what we wanted. Yeah, we want to look at a menu for a minute. Overall just a bad experience. If you come here, I suggest going next door to On Tap.I'm so sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit to our location. I would like to get more details from you about your experience. We visited Village Tavern simply because friends recommended it. We ordered the overpriced ($16) Hot Crab Dip and it was awful! The "crab" used must have been really old because it was extremely "fishy!" I ordered the Spaghetti Squash dish and it was not pleasing at all. No seasoning is used to create this dish! It is stated as being served with a plum tomato sauce, but the word "sauce" should not be used to describe it. The sauce was non-existent! The menu also states it is served with pine nuts. If "3" qualifies, as part of the dish, then so be it! It was all I could do to endure eating about half the portion. I am reluctant to complain and return a dish when dining with friends, so chose not to say anything. We asked for the complimentary bread, but it wasn't worth the calories. It was stale and barely warm! Good thing it was "complimentary!" Left with a $56 bill and a frown on my face!

Had lunch with Family after attending Alabaster City Fair on Saturday 6/1 enjoyed the queso with chorizo when they say large bowl they seriously mean large bowl it was awesome large servings had to take half of our meals home. Staff very attentive never ran out of drinks great service pricing and food cant go wrong here

The hostess did not speak English. The waitress did however and the service was good. Great beans and rice combo way better than most Mexican restaurants. Everything our table ordered was above average.

Went two nights in a row. Beer was cold. Food was ok. Fires seemed to be cold both nights. Had two different burgers. Everything seemed fresh. Not much flavor in meat. Really great sports environment. Waitress was really great. Always asking if we needed anything. Lucky for me I got the same waitress both nights. Walking distance from Hampton inn.

Met family there for dinner. Three generations of family and every one found the perfect menu selection I had the Brunswick Stew and a BBQ Quesidilla. We visited and had chili and pimento grilled cheese. They were both great. We are from Texas and were surprised how good the chili was, tasty. They also had a nice selection of beers on tap and the wait staff were very friendly. Good spot to stop in but a little hard to find buried in a shopping center.

This was our second visit and probably our last. The first involved a Caesar salad without dressing and after several attempts to get dressing we left. More than a year later we tried a second visit. Waitress was attentive but soup was requested before main meal but we had to ask for it again after we received our main dish.
