We had a little bit of a wait for our meals. But it was well worth. Great value for money. Attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Great venue.

Where do I start?!... Arrived to stay in cabin 1, at the back of tavern. Customer service - the man with the mustache working at the pub was extremely unwelcoming and rude, gave the most vague directions for us, when I asked him to repeat it, he was extremely vague and rude again (I had a baby with me too, you'd think a decent human being would be abit nicer to a Mum trying to find directions for somewhere?!)Dust everywhere (very thick in windowsills), thick musk smell throughout like it hasn't been cleaned, since the 90s.Carpet - dark large stains throughout, including bedrooms (I felt like many bucks have had parties here and Wollombi tavern haven't bothered to clean it properly). looks like its never been vacuumed or cleaned, I felt dirty walking barefoot.Absolutely disgusted - woke up to see my baby's face covered in what looks like dust mite bites all over his face. I also have some on my face.Bathroom - mold, all over the ceiling (major health risk). Vanity - looks like its never been wiped down, thick dust and cob webbs everywhere (including the window)Loungeroom (stinks like mold and dirty) - the dining table had spilt drink marks all over it (this was on arrival)Kitchen - stove top didn't work, went to light with lighter they had on bench, that also didn't work!, sticky floor like its a nightclub in the kitchen, hardly any things to cook with (if you provide a kitchenette, maybe provide some other things that a kitchen should have?!)Bedrooms - my baby was sleeping in his portacot for an hour or two, I felt disgusting leaving him in this room with the windows not properly cleaned and having (for security reasons) to keep windows closed, it stunk moldy and dirty in this room when I went to check on him, had to move him to my bed, with horror woke this morning to have the mite bites from the queen bed all over us. Bedroom doors on each room of cabin don't close properly, very old and unmaintained. Light fittings throughout - don't work, some are actually missing. My mum was minding my baby for abit and had to sit in mostly dark.Fans - filled with (thick) dustThe Management of this place really needs to look at this place if they want to charge the amount that they do! get it sorted. I have not got high standards, this was unbelievable... terrible that Wollombi Tavern actually charges you to stay here. We left very early in the morning as I couldnt stay any longer in it, I didnt want my baby crawling around on that floor either.Absolutely disgusted NEVER AGAIN...

Had a beautiful dinner here last night while stopping in Kurri for the night. Doesnât look like much from the outside, but the staff were friendly, plenty of food choices, reasonable prices, and large good quality meals. Food was also Hot and fresh when delivered to out table.

The Brokenback Bar is Estate Tuscany's quirky child. The laid back menu of pizza, burgers, pasta and shared plates suits the relaxed character of the bar while the cocktails, local wines, sweet treats and ice creams add an interesting flavour to your dini
We ordered 6 take away pizzas, to be picked up . Was told they would be 20 minutes. Ended up being 60 minutes.Pizzas were really very average. Also they were very expensive especially for what they were. $24 for a pepperoni pizza. Plus credit card surcharge! No apology for the extra 40 minutes we sat there, waiting.Donât eat here!

We decided to go beyond the township of Wollombi, head south & do some exploring. We happened on this place & the quirkiness of the buildings was a draw card. Once inside we found a bar and eatery with lots of indoor & outdoor seating. We had a beef burger & fries which was delicious followed by a coffee & brownie slice. The surrounding countryside is very pretty so well worth the drive. Staff were very pleasant & efficient as well.

This place has a really nice beer garden. But Itâs just a tourist trap and overpriced charging for $23 for a frozen pizza. Got a beer paddle and didnât drink it, the beer was also ordinary. Very disappointing indeed.

Despite living locally and hearing nothing but great things about Grinders Iâd never been, the rest of my family had on numerous occasions. Our drinks were served quickly and my banana smoothie was refreshing. I had orders the chicken and mushroom crepe with chips and salad, when it came out I thought the crepe was on the small size, but after eating it with the chips and salad it actually was quite filling and the mornay inside was absolutely delicious. My partner had the tradie burger and found it quite tasty. I will return.

Hotel has been renovated beautifully & is so nice. Restaurant is more up market than the normal pub restaurant. The mushroom risotto whilst a small serve was one of the tastiest I have out. Pizza was nice with a lovely thin & crispy base. Service was 1st class.
