Great place for a relaxing meal on the deck overlooking scenic New London bay. Our fish&chips, burgers and lobster roll were all good and the Gahanâs beer was cold and tasty. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly. There is even a resident blue Herron nearby, appropriately named Hank Herron.

Stopped at Carr's - beautiful day, sat on the deck overlooking the water, beautiful! We each had a Ceasar - very good! Followed that with lightly breaded haddock - excellent. Service was friendly and quite prompt.Overheard the waitress looking after the next table if "they needed their change" and that has always struck me as crude. Then our waitress asked me the same - a definite damper on the overall experience. Service not professional.Hi I am sorry to hear this and I will address it immediately. Thank You for visiting us.

Good food but not as good as a couple of years ago. Went last summer and ordered fish tacos as year before they were excellent...this time not nearly as good...but donât judge by just this. Worth a try...really nice deck to have a few drinks and food.

We had a late lunch while visiting the area. Service was relaxed but we were in no hurry. We tried lobster, oysters and the seafood chowder. Everything was delicious but the chowder was extraordinary: chock full of fish and shellfish of various kinds all perfectly done. Donât miss it!

Temporarily Closed. Re-opening for the season mid-June 2019 A Cavendish favourite, now entering our eighth summer in business. No visit to Prince Edward Island is complete without a stop at The Lost Anchor.
We stoped by this restaurant after a long day at the beach. It was fairly full but there was no wait for a table. My husband had lobster, I shared a fish and chips with my daughter as the the two pieces were huge and my other daughter had a hamburger. We all left satisfied and full. The service was quick and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant. We have no complaints.
