Strawberry's is a sports bar type establishment, but it's great for families or a business lunch. Service is zippy and no-nonsense but not in your face. There's plenty of seating in both booths and high top tables. Pizza is made in brick ovens and is highly recommended. Other members of our group raved about the wings and two vegans in our party said the salads were excellent as well.Since it was a business lunch we were in a bit of a hurry and our waitress seemed to instinctively understand that, we were in and out in under an hour. We had such a good experience that we returned a second time the next day.

Went to Leeâs for the first time this past Saturday for lunch. It was everything I expected and more. A classic neighborhood tavern. Dark, small and friendly. And the food was good too! I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and my giant had the pie with ricotta cheese and broccoli. Both were amazing. Thin crust and crispy. Sauce was perfect. I donât live close but if Iâm ever in the area I would make a point of stopping in again.

Must have drove past this place right on a major highway for years, but because of my aversion to food chains never stopped to go inside. This time meeting friend who was staying at the big hotel behind this place, so went inside around 5pm on a FRI and it was crowded so a good sign. Sat at the only seat left at the bar and was greeted immediately even though the staff was busy, and the service was spot on. Plus, it was happy hour till 7PM and they had a very extensive drink and food menu with the lowest prices around so I ordered and it was a pleasant surprise. Nice portions perfectly prepared with quality ingredients. Guess I will come back and not be afraid of chains!

Visited during happy hour on Friday. Happy hour was awesome! $3 pints, free chips and salsa. They also have a chafer with a free hot item as well. I tasted the chicken and rice and it was delicious. Bartender was very nice and very attentive. Beer section was not large (6-7), though the Raspberry wheat was my favorite. This place was busy with locals. Not your typical bar, the motif was cute. Will definitely visit next time im in town.

I always come here for a burger and a beer. You just can't beat the quality of food here. It's better than some of the other places around.

Voted #1 Steak 2 years in a row! We are a traditional American Steak & Seafood restaurant. All of our food is homemade and made to order. Come taste the difference!
Most people love this place. They were packed at 5:00 PM on a Saturday night. Went with a friend. Ordered the volcanic steak tips @ $36.00 Way overpriced in my opinion. Covered in frizzled onions that I couldn't separate it from the potatoes and meat. Sauce not flavorful enough for my liking. Same with the chilcken balsamico @ $25. Sauce lacked enough flavor. Meals come with a small salad. Friend ordered salad with no tomato, I got her plate with my dressing. Not a big deal, but when we got charged for an iced tea we didn't order, was a not as happy. Waited for fresh coffee at the end of the meal. Caffeinated and Decaf were both too weak for our liking, didn't even finish it. Ordered (2) pieces of their famous pecan pie to take home. Pie was good, but also not worth the $7.00 for the size, and they put it in this huge pie plate, so didn't make it home in great condition. Total bill was $120 for the 2 of us. This place just wasn't for us.Very sorry to see you had a "less than perfect" experience with us. I would love to invite you back to try to make it up to you, but it does not seem like there would be much we could do to change your mind. Should you decide to come back, just as for me and I will find a way to make it up to you.

nice atmosphere nice set up- entertainment during week and weekend, but table service was terrible, we waited over 20 minutes just for menu's. The burger was ok but nothing outstanding for 16 bucks. Over all, a little over priced and not so good service at tables.

I had a blackened chicken sandwich as is with a side salad. It was one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I've had. Pickles seem made in house and the salad was mostly spinach with some iceberg, and a good chunky blue cheese. Better than your average bar sand, that's for sure.

Best restaurant in Carteret! Very good food, and service. Meals are reasonably priced! Restaurant has a full bar that is separate from the main dining area. Usually very busy on the weekend so reservations are advised. Come hungry because the portions are big.
