Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Buffalo. Sitting along the Cloud Peak Scenic Byway in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains, Buffalo is conveniently located between Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park. The town itself is rich in frontier history, allowing visitors to step back in time to the days of cowboys and sheriffs. Have a glass of authentic sassafras in the saloon of the Occidental Hotel, right on Main Street, or head south of town and search out the Hole-in-the-Wall hangout of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

A very cool old cowboy saloon with so much of the original fixtures. Relax and take it all in. Better yet, grab a table on Thursday evening for a local jam session of cowboy-country music. Great fun.

Weâve been twice and the food is OK. Our steaks really werenât exceptional like at other steak houses weâve been to. However, if youâre a fan of Longmire, the TV show, thereâs plenty of memorabilia peppering the lobby area. Quite a few souvenirs you can buy too.

Amazing authentic fine dining restarant located behind a beautiful Mexican fence in the heart of the wonderful Buffalo Wyoming. Here you will find great Mexican food in a family friendly dining with a huge Patio.
