Came here for an informal business social. We were just grouped on one end of the restaurant/bar, given free drink tickets, listened to just a moment of promotion, & then had a great evening visiting. The bar had locals & they were very friendly & interested in the business of our group, especially since we were from all over the US.

We where traveling from Washington,DC in Brooking visiting friends & Family and we stopped to Buffalo Wild Wings in Brookings to grap something to eat.Wings where good, service was good and the over all place was nice.Kids had chicken nuggets & fries and they where not bad at all.It's BWW what can you say!

The menu is typical midwestern fare - burgers, salads, pizzas, a couple of seafood dishes, and steaks. But, the difference is the chef can cook. Finding a great burger is often a tough job but this place had it. Service was terrific and the place has a growing and more than adequate wine list for those not interested in beer. Located in the quaint downtown area inside the old bank building, it's worth a stop.

Stopped into this Applebeeâs restaurant for dinner. Staff was polite, and restaurant and parking lot was neat and clean. Restaurant has outdoor seating. Meal was served quickly, and the server was polite. The average rating does not signify âpoorâ rating. If you haven't had the fried chicken sandwich, it is worth a try. It comes with an herbed mayo. Sides are separate. We had fried pickle spears and french fries for our sides. Clean restrooms. Easy and accessible parking in downtown area. Great atmosphere.

Went for family birthday meal. They have widest variety of burgers...excellent burgers and a birthday treat besides! One of my favorite places to eat in Brookings.

The burgers are great. We had the mushroom blue cheese burger and the chicken fried sandwich. Each come with sliced fried potatoes. The chips and corn bean salsa are a very good appetizer and they will refill your chips if you ask. TVs in the bar area usually with sports on. Upscale bar and atmosphere. They do have gift cards for purchase. Restrooms available.

My teenage daughter and I dined here on a busy Saturday night before a show. The host and waitress were excellent, offering to "seat us elsewhere" or "bring us something different" if we didn't like our table or our food. I ordered the pesto pasta and my daughter the black and white fettuccine alfredo. Daughter isn't a very adventurous eater and was worried about the black garlic and white truffle ingredients in the alfredo. The flavors were appropriately subtle, however, and she devoured every bite - even though she is typically a light eater with leftovers. I added shrimp to the pesto and it was cooked perfectly. Thank you for a delightful experience!

Sometimes you get discouraged when you look for restaurants that you can depend on for good food and service - no matter when or how often you visit them. Whiskey Creek rates, in our opinion, Very Good, Very Good, Very Good and Very Good. The last time we were there my wife had the brisket and I had the half rack Ribs. As usual, the food was good, the server was attentive and efficient, the table and floor were clean and the peach cobbler is a glorious way to finish up. Restaurant is easily accessible - close to the Interstate and hotels. We recommend.
