Before trying it for the first time for lunch on 6/24/18, I checked out the menu and hours (since it was a Sunday) on their personal web page. The prices seemed quite reasonable, before even arriving decided on the French Dip sandwich. Upon arrival, I was given a one-page menu that didn't include this. I asked the cheerful young waitress (the entire waitstaff looked like they were barely of legal age!) if that was the only menu - telling her of having checked the one on-line and my choice wasn't on this one. She told me that on Sundays, they are usually swamped (though, there was no more than about 25% of seating occupied around me at 12:30pm??), so on that day they normally only offer an abbreviated menu... but, since it was not "swamped", she brought me the regular menu (with my predetermined preference). That was very much appreciated! I also found that they had Rolling Rock on sale for $2 a bottle and on Sundays have a noon-time mimosa and bloody Mary bar. Cool!

The Cozy Inn has been nicely redone, and is a good option in Brighton. The building is small, but between the redone bar, and the placement of tables, there is a decent amount of seating locations. The draft beer selection was a bit small and limited, which was disappointing. The food was good though. The Pizza was OK (I'm a self-described East Coast pizza snob, so take that for what it's worth!). The burgers were very good, and I loved the presentation of the condiments that came with the burgers. Overall, this isn't a bad place in Brighton.

Wait staff was excellent and friendly, Some nice new items on the menu. Asked 3 times to have temperature in the bar area checked. Server said he asked the manager. Finally found the manager and he reluctantly turned up the heat. It was three in theafternoon and at least four other patrons complained also. We all ate with our coats on. Could have been a great fun meal but the lack of concern ruined our experience. It will be a long time before we visit here again. Not a good value if the comfort level is missing.

I don't typically write reviews. However, I am in the service industry and thought it would be helpful for the owners of this restaurant to hear about how rude their manager, Stephanie, is. I've been going to this spot for years and never had a problem until my most recent visit. My family went there for Mother's Day brunch. After waiting some time to be seated (which is expected on Mother's Day), we quickly ordered our food because we were all hungry. Nearly 30 minutes went by when our waitress informed us that the restaurant was out of eggs. We were all frustrated because not only was the service slow, our orders had to be canceled after a long wait. We half jokingly asked our waitress if we could get some kind of complimentary chips and salsa due to the inconvenience while we waited for our second order. She was very friendly and said she would see what she could do. To our surprise, a manager named Stephanie then came over and was incredibly rude (we didn't even ask to talk to her and honestly weren't trying to make a big deal). She immediately went on a long rant about how they could not do anything more for us because it is very common for Lu and Carl's to run out of food on Sunday's. She gave a long list of food they run out of and stated we should expect this type of thing at the end of the week, especially on Mother's Day. She then went on to say that this is so common that if she were to give everyone an appetizer who had to make a second order, the restaurant would go out of business. She then compared our request to "finishing an entire meal then asking for it for free". This didn't even make sense because we hadn't gotten any food yet. At this point my mother stopped her because we literally had not said a word to her yet. She told Stephanie that we understand and her explanation did not have to go on. She then walked away, no apology, nothing. We were all very shocked and would have never asked for the chips and salsa knowing Stephanie would come over to ruin our lunch. After that we felt very uncomfortable. We waited another 20 minutes for our food and left quite disappointed by the treatment we received by Stephanie. Like I said, I've been coming here for years and never had a problem with the restaurant running out of food or receiving poor service until today.

"Located right in downtown Brighton. Popular place, been there for years".
Great atmosphere, fish and chips was good, served hot not over cooked. Shepherds pie was a disappointment, large chunks of tough meat, soupy. I tried the house merlot, bitter, they need to upgrade or take it off the menu.Waitress friendly but clueless.

The only drawback to this sports bar is how loud it can get even to the point you cannot talk across the table. Having said that the selections of food and drinks including craft beers were very good. Very tasty food items and service staff were very good. Prices were very reasonable and the portions generous. Good place for a celebration or just to experience the atmosphere of a good sports bar. I would not hesitate to return or to recommend.

The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. The food is prepared timely and we've never been disappointed. If your going in there expecting gourmet food don't go to a Sports Bar, but if you're going in there expecting good Sports Bar food you won't be disappointed!! It's a great place for friends to gather relax and have an adult beverage and a good sandwich.

We stopped in on a Wednesday night and parked ourselves on the patio, which is gorgeous! Enjoyed their version on summer shandy, and my husband had a dark beer (not sure of the name), which he enjoyed. Lucky for us it was open mic night and there were a tremendous number of peeformers. What a treat! Such great young musicians - they were wonderful. Not much in the way of food, but they sis have some appetizers for purchase. Overall a great evening!

Brighton Bar and Grill is an American Bistro located in the heart of beautiful downtown Brighton, Michigan. Our mission is to provide a family dining experience that features high quality food, professional friendly service and a warm, comfortable, family
This place is great except for the irrepressible, ignorant, self centered people that leave their phone on waiting for that critical call from the trauma center so they can rush to the hospital to conduct the surgery. Shut your phone off before you enter ANY restaurant. It is what responsible people do!P. S. Donât get the carrot cake, save it all for me!!!Go here!!
