Went to L'Avano for dinner after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor.A very friendly place located close to town and harbour.The atmosphere is comfortable and we were greeted with a smiling face.There was a good choice of food on the menu, steak, burgers, pizza and moules.My wife and I had pizza's and my daughter had the pasta, all dishes looked and tasted great. Though we didn't have them, the Moules looked fantastic.We sat outside listening to the band playing in a nearby resturant.The service was very good.There is ample parking close to the restaurant2 x Pizza, 1 x pasta, bottle of wine, soft drink = 60 Euro's.

Ate here late one gorgeous summer evening. The moules mariniece et fries, washed down with an ice cold local muscadet was superb, and very cheap. Good service, food came quickly, but the view over the gorgeous golden beach really topped it off. And my daughter tackled the world's largest ice cream cone! Nothing special....but made very special by the location!

MAGNIFIQUE RESTAURANT!First time there last night for dinner with family and the server, service, ambiance, food, and drinks were perfect. Especially Original burger ( the best burger i have ever eaten ) and it was delicious!. Simply spectacular! The people were amazing. The food was amazing. THANK YOU!! Everything was simply perfect! We went just the two of us, we had a bottle of wine, mixed tapas platter and baked camembert - which was amazing!!! We sat outside and watched the people milling about whilst enjoying our treat out, overall was very nice!

We chose this over other places due to the positive reviews but a 2 course lunch for us and the baby took about 2 hours with the first 15 minutes waiting for the offer of a menu, a drink, anything really.The waitress was conscious that things were taking too long, she was super busy. The lady in charge seemed far less concerned. They were friendly and helpful enough when they were attending to people, including us and the food was quite good. It's a short, formule menu. It was a shame the high chair seemed to be missing a part and the baby's plate was full sized so it wouldn't fit on his table. Very little shade outside too; not a problem for me but it's something else to think about.
