Pit Stop Tavern & Restaurant is a long time favorite in the area. Known for serving large portioned steaks, fresh seafood, and nostalgic Pennsylvania Dutch influenced plates.
We stopped in last night excited to try it out since it was new owners, well that excitement went when we got our food. I got the king cut prime rib, which was so tough, dry and yet still bloody (I ordered it medium well) and burnt on the outside, it was liked they microwaved it and threw it in a very hot pan to sear it, it was flavorless and didnt come with any au ju, my baked potato was under cooked and cold. My wife got the seafood sizzler, again no flavor, small portions and a very small lemon to add flavor. As much as I hate to do a bad review, for a local business. We will not be returning.I am very sorry to hear about your experience. I want to inform you that we have a brand new cook, brand new management, and a brand new menu coming out very soon
Over the years we have continued to return for lunch or dinner. The food is good, prices reasonable, friendly atmosphere, but be prepared to get mud on your shoes and your car floor matts during wet weather. Walking to and from the restaurant requires navagating standing pools of water and walking in mud. Unfortunately the condition of the parking area does compliment the quality of dining. If you plan to go, check the weather first.

Iezziâs Tavern is a legendary Boyertown icon and neighborhood bar that has been the choice of locals for over eight decades. Completely renovated from wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling just this summer (2017). With more room (yep), multiple TVs and new HVAC,
If you are from Boyertown you already know about Iezzi's, if not this review is for you. Iezzi's is the perfect neighborhood bar. From the moment you walk in and are greeted with a friendly smile from the bartender to the moment you leave and get a pleasant good bye. This place is a gem.

Stopped in on a Sunday to watch Eagles game. Ordered the carved ham and carved roast beef sandwich. Both sandwiches were great and very tasty!!! Saw other people ordered wings and they looked delicious. Staff were very friendly and very attentive. Would definitely go back!

Stopped in on a Monday night just after opening when we realized we were in the neighborhood. Just the same as we remember from going there years ago. Great laid-back vibe, creek-side tables and open grills to cook your own steak. Great quality steaks with a side of baked potato and salad. Unlike other reviewers, I don't find the prices all that high. The meat is good and the setting is awesome. What more could you want? We enjoyed having the place to ourselves after a lovely day exploring the area, which is worth exploring for at least a day. I hope it doesn't take us so long to get back.

Formerly the Red Hill Tavern, Docâs Irish Pub is Gilbertsvilleâs hottest hang. Completely renovated in 2013 with an impressive outdoor patio and bar added in 2016, locals gather for fellowship, watching sports on the multiple TVs around the large horsesho
This place has great Pork Wings and some good other dishes. Itâs not just bar food. We ate outside on the patio at the bar. Really comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I look forward to going back for the Pork Wings which I had never heard of before going here. They were recommended by the bar tender and they were awesome!

This place is out in the middle of nowhere but well worth finding! We were greeted by Sasquatch by the door, then by a friendly waitstaff who was also bar tending at the time. She made me a great old fashioned and my husband a great martini. We splurged and ordered their surf and turf - a bit pricey but worth every penny! The rest of the menu looked tempting and we were told the Shepard pie is good and I have no doubt. The lobster was sweet and excellent and the steaks were done perfectly. We also had excellent and fresh salads, a great spinach side, but no room for dessert, although they looked great. Our waitstaff person frequently checked on us to make sure everything was ok and it definitely was. We will be back again for sure!

We visited for a birthday celebration during the week with several friends. All of the group visit this place often and enjoy the atmospher and the food. We sat at the bar until the other guest arrived. The bartender was great; very personable. When our guests arrived we moved to a table for 10 which the bartender had set up in advance. The night bartender came in shortly after our move to the table. She started off by talking to her friends for several minutes. She then walked by our table to wait on a table for two. She never acknowlegded our table even though there were three people with empty glasses. At that point we decided to talk to the day time bartender about serving us. She said she would so we tipped her to stay and serve us for our party. I know our 10 people not visiting this establishment at night won't break this place, but our 10 people telling 10 people about our experience with the night bartender and them telling 10 people and so on will hurt their bottom line. I visit this place often and it is a good place to go but I will not go there in the evening again. This is a good place for drinks and the food is always good. I gave the service a 3 star only because of the daytime bartender. If I could I would have given the night bartender a negative number for service.
