Food was OK. Had hamburger with curry sauce. Beer was disappointing. After a hike up Muttersberg, we were thirsty and hungry. Had the dark beer, it was not very interesting. Rather like Coors or Bud. The wait people were very nice. We are learning that you need to ask for the bill in Austria, they won't bother you and will not intrude with a bill like they do in the U.S.A.Hi. Thanks for your feedback. OK is not good enough for us as far as food is concerned.If 2 "stars" are just because of the beer you didn't like please be informed that we do not produce the beer. It is from the brewery on the other side of the street which has a similar name. Anyway, this brewery produces high quality beer winning several medals (for example 5 times gold DLG at "Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft")So food was ok. you had a good time and staff was good and we get 2 stars for it (our center includes this restaurant, the bar-pub, a bowling center and our lasertag area...) :-) Anyway, hope to see you again. stayed here november 2015. Great classic wood decor. Wonderful service - reception helped us to find hiking nearby, let us borrow ountain bikes for no charge, told us about bike trails along the river to adjacent towns. Restaurant serves delicious food at very reasonable prices compared to U.S.A. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff is truely attentive. Breakfast buffet is exquisite. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!!

I wonder where all these positive reviews come from. Chicken salad just had a few chunks of chicken, which was dry. Iceberg salad made it even cheaper. Bruschetta was with cooked ham sold to me as smoked ham. When we wanted to pay, staff told us they didn't take cards. No sign on the door or notice on the menu. AVOID THIS PLACE!Dear guest, we are very sorry that you are not happy with our serviceIf you had give us a Information about that your order is not okay we could have found definitely a solution. The chicken salad is freshly prepared as the salad, iceberg, Lollo rosso, rucola, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers. prosciutto bruschetta is prepared with ham and not with cooked ham (also stands nowhere). Too card payment: by us the payment with ec card is hardly taken up so that we never have it as a subject. The law does not write also before with not acceptance of the ec maps this somewhere must stand many thanks to for your understanding.

The food definitely not something for someone who has high standards, but it’s edible.The soup was very salty, the chicken from the salad was a bit boring.
