Stopped by en route to a football match, was greeted by a very attentive waiter who took our drinks order and explained the dishes available and emphasised their use of fresh ingredients.A short time later, a waitress came and took our food order. When the food arrived, I have to say my chicken curry was fantastic. My wife had a wild mushroom risotto which she enjoyed and my daughter had the meat tapas, while her husband had the vegetarian tapas, both of which were curry based, but both of which consisted of a number of dishes, which they both found filling and both commented on the quality of the various dishes. Food and drinks for four and all for under £60!I would thoroughly recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys curry based dishes.

A warm, welcoming family run pub & restaurant with beautiful views over the Worth Valley. We serve homemade, fresh food cooked to order - including a main menu, lunch time menu & specials board. We are family friendly, with a children's play area outside
We arrived quite early in the evening, in time to qualify for the early bird menu. The young lady serving was incredibly pleasant and helpful, I was sorry I had no cash for the tip she deserved. The food was very good, excellent value.

Came in with my other half and we were shown to a table. There was a dirty napkin with lipstick marks with clean cutlery on it. The chicken I ordered was completely dry and I asked they donât use bbq sauce and mushrooms were covered in it. Boyfriends burger came with a nasty yellow âplasticâ sauce.Food used to be good here, today it was just awful. Plus we were brought the bill although we were still drinking...Here at Dick Hudsons, we strive for excellence, and are disappointed to hear that you received anything less. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will use your comments to refine our efforts to ensure this issue does not happen again.

The Brown Cow has been serving as a hostelry in Bingley for over 100 years. This family run pub, provides traditional & innovative home cooked food, individually selected wines and award winning cask conditioned ales from local breweries. All of this come
I haven't been here for a while but my visiting daughter fancied a meal in town. Can never underestimate how good the food is at this pub also indicated by how many people are eating at any given time.I had a very nice pan fried duck breast. Not something I normally see on a regular menu in a pub. My daughter and her partner had regular fish and chips which looked amazing. We all enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was good in the pub. The service was excellent and fuss free. We were allowed to remain unhurried after we had finished eating as we caught up on conversations. It was nice to see children and dogs in the pub. Many dogs just had to be made a fuss of. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. I have to wonder why I don't eat there more often as I never have any gripes about the food quality or the service.

A quiet evening with my daughter was spoilt when nothing I ordered was 'available' - ordered the pizza and prosecco deal - no longer on despite clear advertising. Sweet potato fries had to be ordered elsewhere - farcical. Barmaid didn't seem to know how to make the cocktails or what tonics were available - poor staff training.Hi fionad765, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are currently in the process of updating our blackboards however these should have been changed ready for the weekend. I apologise for the inconvenience caused and this will be chased up ASAP!Really sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with our service, we would like to investigate the matter further for you. Could you please send an email detailing your experience to [email protected] hope to see you again soon and show you the true Potting Shed experience!Kind Regards, Potting Shed

My wife and I are devotees of the steak night here on Tuesdays. Great value at £25 for a good bottle of wine and 2 x 8oz steaks, either sirloin or rump. Well presented and well cooked. The olives, too, were great value at £3 for a large bowl. Great service from Bethan and Georgina last night, and always a ready smile. Our only 'quibble' was nothing to do with the food or service. It was the 2 dog owners who allowed their 2 large dogs to lie sprawled across the floor. Anyone in a wheelchair could not have got past to go to the men's toilet. Why are dog owners so selfish and blind to others' needs? If dogs are allowed in pubs, surely their owners should respect human beings' space, ensure the highest level of hygiene and prevent their dogs from barking in an environment where people come to relax.

Situated opposite Bingley railway station. We are open Monday to Friday from 4pm until late and Saturday/Sunday 12 noon until late. All our food is freshly prepared and cooked to order. We have a great selection of quality wines, complimented by new world
We booked the foundry for my Daughters 21st Birthday celebration, after a little confusion regarding the booking and the food the party was a huge success and the food was fantastic regarding quality, quantity and variety. In fact the new owners food menu doesnât do it justice . The owners couldnât do enough to make it any better and were continually asking and checking if all was ok. The room holds about 80 and you can utilise the public bar area as well, they have a fantastic range of Gins and I would highly recommend booking the private room for any event or party and would certainly recommend using their catering.
