Very attentive service from Ashlyn. Excellent charcuterie platter of sumptuous fresh goodies. Dinner salad, bursting with summer fresh items was so satisfying. The meal was ended with mouth-watering whiskey cake and great bar creation. The restaurant was clean and it was fascinating to watch staff creating and bringing out goodness to the diners. A fantasically delicious dining experience. We were in town from Alaska and this place was a real treasure! Will probably return before returning home.

Many best of food categories as listed on the web-list The Mule and especially the sandwich called Macaroni Pony, mac & cheese, lightly BBQ pork, ARE as advertised. Very good and very original sandwiches. And be sure to try the Fired Cheese Curds--very lightly fried and comes with two sauces: ranch and The Mule's own tomato soup as the 2nd dip. Our waitress was very attentive to service with a very welcoming attitude. TIP: to avoid waiting as there is limited seating, go early like 11 am for lunch.

My wife and I celebrated our 30+ anniversary at the Hefner Grill. I had made reservations and asked to be seated overlooking the Lake Hefner and we had a great table. My wife has some food allergies and the staff was very solicitous including the manager who checked on our meal. The food was great and the service from everyone from the hostess to the servers and the manager was wonderful. A great addition to our celebration.

We took a sweet elderly couple from our church there for their 70th anniversary. This was their choice and we had never been there. I am cutting back on certain items such as sweets and any sugar or bread. S&B's who just took over the location from The Brewery actually has on there menu a burger without bread. I get a funny look and "are you serious" when I ask for no bread at most places. The food and service was very good. Unfortunately the music was way to loud and we could not hardly here each other so we ate and left and did not really get to visit much.It was good enough to go back when it is just the 2 of us and I can turn off my hearing aids and the noise (they call it music) will not bother us.
