Great service; very casual dining; cold beer; perfect.About those wings; they're not on the menu; they are a dry rubbed; not sauced wing; this venue does not use frozen wings; so they are all fresh. Just fabulous; and not messy. I had the mild; should have gone for the spicy; but a little bit of bite.There are dozens of other items on the menu; and sitting near the kitchen; saw all manner of good looking items coming out. Only got there once before leaving town; but memorable. Give it a try.Awe of course we call them Dirty Wings! Thanks for stopping in!

Wide range of options here so there's something for everyone. The chicken breast with angel hair pasta and "sherry cream sauce" and mushrooms was a delightfully good surprise. The "three little pigs" sandwich was excellent (bacon, ham, pulled pork). Several other options on the menu that looked very appealing; sorry we didn't have time to come back again this trip. Will definitely be back.The bar is a full bar, with a variety of interesting looking drinks. Very disappointed in the Cadillac margarita -- came in a large 16 oz glass with plenty of ice -- but had orange juice and Sierra Mist soda in it. Tasted more like a kiddie cocktail punch. Had a decent wine list and will select off of it next time.Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. There's both a bar area with tables, as well as a dining room area on the other side of the wall. Nice decor; nice bathrooms. Will definitely be back.

We eat here often. They have a Sunday brunch from 11-2 that is super !! You can pick breakfast or lunch from the buffet. It is all great tasting !! The people who work there are also super ( well the ones that have waited on us). They know my name and know what I want to drink , not many places do this !!! The menu food is also super !! I have tried MANY this on it !!! They do have specials daily.

Great place, cheap and quality food and great entertainment. Super find, my wife grew up in the area and wanted me to visit this place. Super friendly staff, and neat indoor/outdoor seating. Odd food system where you order your food at the kitchen, then wait and pick it up. However, it has character. We will return.

Went to the open, outdoor section for a few beers. Been here before during the day and service is good usually. The same as in this area, the bartenders/waitstaff serve efficiently but hang around their friends and socialize or play on their phones otherwise. This is not "Cheers". I don't think I've seen the same person twice there. The beer is cold, the tv's need to be dusted etc. The problem I had this time was the beer I was served was expired and in a overly frosted bottle with rust on it. I told the young bartender the bottle was nasty and expired. She promptly gave me another but was also expired. I sent that back also. She took them over to another person at the bar (which I think is still the owners girlfriend with over 20 years bar experience) and came back to me and said it was the "Born on date". I'm drinking Coors Light not Bud. So I ordered a Bud Light instead. Nobody knows the difference between the beer companys and the employees are clueless. By the way, only Anheuser Busch products use a born on date, and a rusty bottle is a clue it sat on the bottom of the cooler too long. Overall, I will go back when the outdoor section is open.

This was my husband and my second visit. The first time we had the burgers and fries. They were good but not something we'd make a special trip to East Alton to eat. Tonight we decided to try their Tuesday night wing special. We got there around 6 and the place was busy but we got a table right away and the server was there quickly to get our drink order. We asked for a menu and she delivered the menu and drinks promptly. Service was good and we both had wings, I had a salad and hubby had a gyro. Our food was delivered in a timely manner but like our previous visit it wasn't anything to write home about. We may go back for the wing special but won't be in a real hurry to go back. Our bill ran right at $20.

High flyers is always a go to choice for us when family is in town visiting. The open outdoor patio is great when weather is nice and the planes coming and going make for a unique atmosphere. Service has improved since years past. Food is average to good. We always have to get he Asiago cheese dip appetizer, even when weâre there for lunch. (( it is our favorite )) and always order extra pita chips. The steak kabobs are always a great choice. Iâve gotten the catfish a few times and i guess depending on the cook, itâs never really been consistent, so i stopped ordering. House salads are good with the house Italian dressing as well.

Hubby and I were there for the first time tonight. The apps menu looked good, and they had wings on special. But I chose the Philly Cheesesteak with fries (well done) and hubby had the Buffalo fish that came with fries, slaw, and hushpuppies. My sandwich was delicious! It was so big that I only ate about a quarter of it. The fries were just how I liked them. Hubby's fish was hot and crispy and he said the slaw was some of the best he's had. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive, even as the place began to fill up. My only complaint was the two very loud women who came in and sat at the bar and never quit talking LOUDLY. Of course that was just dumb luck, but it did detract from our experience a bit. Not enough that we won't be back again....we'll just choose a table away from the bar.
