We stopped here for a quick, light lunch, so decided against having the menu del dÃa, which offered three courses for 8.50 euros. However, my mixed salad was enormous and the platter of ham and eggs was over generous. Standard of cuisine was basic, the waiting staff were responsive and the ambience was friendly and relaxed. On the high road through town. Easy parking right outside. Mainly locals and a few pilgrims.Clean ans spacious. Marble, stainless steel and wood. Grande pizza, lots of topping (too big for one).English spoken.No issues.

We had the menú del dÃa (Saturday). There was So.Much.Food. And it was all so delicious! Fabada and pote tevergano (both kinds of stews) for starters; carrillera and rabo de toro (meat dishes) for mains.The only reason why I don't give this place 5 stars is because they wouldn't let us take home the leftovers! Definitely do not over-order; the quantities are monstrously big (in a good way!)
