I went to this location for brunch with some of my friends during a group vacation. Overall, the experience was ok. We were surprised to learn about the various added charges for things that seemed like very basic substitutions. I ordered the French Toast and the portion size was very small - you only get a single piece. The server was very nice and actually brought me another one. I would consider returning but probably wouldnât actively plan to go back.

Born in 1952, in the Irish Channel neighborhood, Parasol's is a New Orleans tradition that is known as THE place to go for roast beef po boys, and a huge St. Patricks Day block party. We are a neighborhood bar to the world, where everyone is welcome and t
No kidding. Homer Simpson had a roast beef po'boy here! After visiting Lafayette Cemetery we went to have their famous shrimp po'boy - and ended up also getting Homer's roast beef one too. They are REALLY good both of them. I still prefer shrimp one personally - slightly spicy, just beautiful and really filling. Place accepts cash only (they have a cash machine), po'boys are really sloppy - so roll up your sleeves, take a bunch of napkins and dig in. Well worth it! It's unassuming from outside, but once inside you have people buzzing at the bar with beers and cocktails and others enjoying food. It's a cool place to stop for a simple but very much NOLA lunch.

Had lunch there on 8/12. It was OK. It wasn't busy and I thought it took a long time to fill our order, which was 2 dogs and an order of tots. I also thought 8.50 was a little pricey for a fancy dog, but they were good. I would go back, but not in a rush. Funky but clean.Thank you for the feedback on your ticket time. We've gotten to work on this issue, and we're confident our team will improve. And thank you for saying we're "funky but clean!" That's a great compliment! Thanks again!

I love the New Orleans drive through Daiquiri spots the original New Orleans Daiquiris or the best in town. You have the option of adding a shot to your drink for maybe $3 depending on the shot. They have all sizes from small to extra large and still reasonably priced. Multiple flavor options along with multiple shot options including Patron. I can't wait to visit again this was just the coolest invention to me who would have ever thought drive-thru Daiquiri spots I wish California had them.

NOLA for 4 days. We ate here twice. BEST FOOD we had and we went to a lot of good places! Literally every thing we had was delicious! I can't imagine that you could go wrong with any item on the menu but we had: pastrami w/sauerkraut sandwich, hot boudin sausage, Cajun sausage, a porchetta sandwich (sadly a special and not on the regular menu but...to die for), black eyed pea chili. The drinks were great too. The space is really pleasant and, even though the seating is mostly at high tops or a the bar, its a comfortable place to be. Great service too. We didn't try Cochon (the main restaurant) this time but we definitely will when we return to New Orleans.

We took a burger and Fish & Chips. The burger was prepared good, and the Fish & Chips where great. You can sit on the terrace to watch sport and enjoy your food. It can be cleaned a bit better outside, but it was okay, not more than a simple okay.Thank you for the review. We want to make sure you have a great experience EVERYTIME you visit us. We appreciate your feedback!

This restaurant looks good from the outside, and the decor inside is also upscale. We were there on a Sunday night and had a drink at the bar while waiting for a table, not too bad..... But waiting was the name of the game here....we had to wait after we were seated until our server was finished with a big table and could come to us. Her name was Ya-Ya, and she was pleasant and attentive. However, she had to apologize all night for the slow kitchen and at one point even gave us some biscuits "to tide us over", since our meals didn't come out for a VERY long time. Looking about, I could see other people wanting to talk to the manager throughout the room. Some people at a table got their food and others did not, some got their food piecemeal. Then, while we were eating, a child at the next table vomited over herself and the floor and no-one cleaned it up. I finally brought it to the attention of the hostess not to seat anyone there until something was done, that's when someone took care of it. Even though we were in the area for 3 more days we wouldn't go back. The food wasn't bad but but someone needs to do something about the kitchen.

My1st experience here was a good one. There is a lack of decor, because every inch of wall has multiple tv screens. It looks more like a sports bar, but that's not a bad thing.I would love to come back to watch a game, every seat is would be a good one. On the table there was at least three different menus. And they all were an terrible shape. Service was slow. I had the Fire Pasta Jambalaya($12.99), it was a bit disappointing - there was a lot of oil/grease in this pasta dish. Other family members had: Oyster Plate, $14.99; Grilled fish, shrimp & crawfish with cream sauce over a bed of penne pasta , $17.99 and the Chargrilled oysters(6), $11.99. Everyone enjoyed their meals and will come back again.
