Really lovely place, with a great range of food and perfect for families (one of the best kids menus Iâve seen) or dinners with friends. We enjoyed our visit for a Sunday lunch. Firstly Itâs got a great garden and ideal for kids and warmer days. The new owners seem friendly and clearly they have some plans to enhance the menu and quality. The food was good although still some improvement needed. I think the starters are a little bland and could be improved. The meat was of good quality, however the roast potatoes were over cooked and slightly burnt. Hopefully they will be better next time. I think the occasional BBQ in the garden would be a great addition for a village pub whilst you make best use of the Summer. Good luck

Part of the Brunning and Price family, the White Horse is a lovely pub restaurant in Beaconsfield. Visit our website for today's menu, to book online and for more photos.
Stylishly furnished bar with discrete but interlinked dining area. Comfortable stools and wooden chairs, plus leather dining chairs. Interesting array of prints and photographs adorn the walls, and skilful positioning of plants enhances the chic elegance of the interior. The menu is traditional English with imaginative embellishments. Substantial range of good quality ales and wines, all priced to represent good value. Service from Quentin and his colleagues was impeccably responsive yet gracefully unobtrusive.

We had a great value Travelzoo voucher for 2 courses and a glass of fizz. The setting is idyllic, the young staff are lovely and very efficient and the food is fabulous. As we walked in I saw the Thai menu and assumed it was only available on certain nights, so was very pleased to be given this menu as well as the standard one as it was included in the deal. The curry was very pleasingly hot (maybe too much for some people but perfect for me!). A great place, and I hope to return.

The 3 star Chequers Inn Hotel and Restaurant has 29 beautiful bedrooms, each retaining the charm of a 17th century coaching inn. They are designed using modern furnishings which still complement the charm of the surrounding countryside. You can choose to
Overpriced food for what you end up with. Staff were friendly and helpful.Ordered Ribeye steak, had to saw through ,, very tough and unable to completely chew, extremely disappointing . I did complain and they took it off the bill.Would not bother going back.

Three pals of mine took me out for my birthday to this venue. They had kindly organised a 'cocktail masterclass' and dinner after.Straight away Danny the bartender was friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. For me he made the evening. I learnt a lot at his masterclass about cocktails and how to mix them. He's only 19, but boy has he got charm and pizzazz!! it was a fabulous experience and made a wonderful and unique birthday gift from my friends. The dinner too was good. I had the burger which was really nice, followed by the raspberry cake which was as delicious as my main course. The others had different dishes, but all pronounced their meal to be excellent. For me this is the ideal venue for a lighthearted fun evening with mates. It's more a bar with meals, so the bar element is absolutely superb.I would definitely return to this venue, and hopefully again with a bunch of girlfriends!HI Mickigirl1310, thank you so much for your feedback and for taking the time to write us a great review! I'm so happy to hear you had a great time with us and we look forward to your next visit. Iâll make sure dan gets all your feedback, all the best, Russ
