Besides all old tricks (were here 2012), now this place has new staff and restaurant (Roadkill Café).We enjoyed great hamburgers with some beer / cider. Shoot some photoes (as so many others). Enjoyed 45min break middle of long driving.Landmark to stop, if you choose R62.

Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, simple delicious food. Mostly outdoor seating, on the lawn, near the pool or on the stoep. Pub with dart board, pool table, great music, flat screen TV for sports, beer on tap, and a range of wine, ciders, coolers and spirits
Lovely little bar at the top of the R62. Definitely worth a stop - super friendly staff always willing to assist and have a chat.

My first meal out in South Africa, delightful salad , great tasty pizza, stuffed chillies etc. every dish was good. Good local jazz band, friendly staff good location with great view. Would highly recommend it
