We wanted to try Cornerstone again for my birthday, so we went early since there were 4 adults & 1 teenager and we arenât into crowds. The appetizers were delicious ( fried pickles, and mussels-small) and the beet salad was out of this world-delicious!Dinner included the steak special=good; Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl was delicious; swordfish tacos were delicious, salmon was good (a little dry) nicely cooked slivered carrots and Reuban was good but hardly any sauerkraut!Desserts sharedâ-3 tiered mousse & lava cake were very good. Server was extremely friendly & quick.

Beautiful setting in the town's old fire house it also includes a museum
Nice repurpose of an old firehouse. One large room serves as dining room, and it is fairly loud. Obviously a popular place as we had a 30-45 minute wait. Decorated for Halloween. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. Nothing special for beer or wine, a small list for both. Wide menu choices. Food was average. ho hum Caesar salad dressing. Red sauce on a spinach calzone just ok.

I don't like leaving reviews that just bash a restaurant because I know how personal a business can be to owners. I instead would just like to leave feedback to hopefully let managers/owners know what can be improved to help them in the future. We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with 6 people. It was not busy but we heard there was a large party upstairs. We ordered our food and drinks and waited....and waited....and waited...Not once did a server approach our table to refill waters, offer another beer, or even update us as to why lunch was taking so long. We waited for over an hour for our food. Instead of ignoring us because it was taking so long, managers/owners should train their servers to instead keep the table informed of the wait time and at least let them know what the status of the food is. Not only did we wait for our food for an unreasonable amount of time, but we sat there with no water, empty beer glasses (they literally could have sold 4 more beers if they just came to the table) and no update as to the whereabouts of lunch. In the future - if food is taking a long time, please don't ignore guests, make them at least feel appreciated even when things aren't going great in the kitchen. Most people realize that things may take a while and are ok with it. But to ignore a table isn't the solution and turns guests off. We were 5 minutes away from walking out of here.

Pretty busy the day I was there. Only one waitress who was working very hard doing the best she could. All our food choices were average or above. Only issue is that the beer prices should be able to be seen without asking. Limited parking when they are busy, but overall I will return.
